Not a good experience at all. It took 10 min to get a beer one in our party ordered. When the pizza came out, it was room temperature(???) and was supposed to have peppers I guess it did, if you count basically two pepperoncini on a large pizza! When I asked for more, the manager brought it out after we had finished eating! Without a word of apology, he turned around and walked away. Small tip only because my daughter waited tables in college, but hope the point was taken Back to local– only pizza for me!

Really long wait, but I ordered the Italian nachos and they were delicious. I’d go back just to have then again. Wish the place was more inviting as it has a really small waiting area and seems really dreary and stale in there. Was surprised since it’s a new restaurant in liberty where everything is busy.

Very long wait to get our food and the place was not very busy. My calzone was ok and the kid’s pizza was ok but my husband’s reuben arrived cold it also was very thin, not much meat at all. My younger son had mac n cheese and his fries were cold as well.

Came in with the ol lady. Sat at the bar had a few different craft beers. Joined there beer club. Not a huge draft beer selection. We ate the spin dip for an app. Didn’t look the best but it was really good. Definitely different with veggies but really good idea. For our entrée we had the ale Italian grinder pizza. Excellent pizza! Service was great. Definitely a new spot.

The hubby & I stopped in for a quick bite on our way to the movies… We ordered the Pepperoni Rolls to start and they were very yummy. They had lots of pepperoni in each bite. We split the Meat Me Calzone for our entrée and it was awful… Correct me if I’m wrong but a Calzone isn’t supposed be full of liquid right? I’m not talking juicy it was undercooked liquid. It had a taste to it that was off, can’t describe. Last but not least the volume was so loud both me & the hubby left with a headache.

Double decker on tavern thin is probably my favorite pizza; good selection of salads and beers. Stay away from the burgers and sandwiches they are ok. A little pricy, but lunch and happy hour specials are good.

Food was good and got pizza much faster than expected. Not my favorite atmosphere, as it was very loud because they were so busy. I think next time we will just order a pizza for carry out. It was just a little irritating to share a table with someone else that we didn’t know(it was a long table that normally seated 8 though) and be right by the door only to have other people that were waiting standing directly behind me, while I’m trying to eat.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. I like a good pizza and beer place. Came here today to grab a quick dinner. Upon walking in the door there was no one standing at the hostess station. We stood there for about 5 min before a waitress walking by saw us and yelled for someone to come seat us. The menu is pretty big with quite a few choice: pizza, salads, Mac and cheese, wings, and a good selection of appetizers. I ordered the nachos for a starter. They came out first and I was disappointed to see a sprinkling of cheese and sparse toppings with a couple globs of sour cream on top. I had to fish around to find cheese and toppings to put on my chips. The flavor was just ok. Then out came the pizza. I ordered an individual with the Chicago crust. Meh. It too was very lacking in cheese. After one bite it had pulled off what little cheese was there. The crust was overly oily too. I took a few bites where there was cheese and left the rest. Needless to say we won’t be back. Subpar pizza that is over priced. I should’ve taken my $ 40 and went to Nicky’s instead.

I’ve been here several with times with big groups and small. This particular time I was just with one other person. Our waitress(Brooke) was rude from the very start. She didn’t refill our drinks once or ask if we needed anything. When I finally got her attention to ask her for the check she brought it 13 minutes later and it was wrong so then she had to correct it which was another 8 minutes. I asked for the manager who she seemed to be very close to and didn’t even care that I had terrible service she didn’t even apologize just made a a face of disappointment. If you go here I hope Brooke is not your waitress and if she is I hope she gives you better service!

This is my 5th time here and while the service and food quality has been somewhat erratic it is getting much better. Just ask for VICKI for the best service. She rocks and I have known her for years at Applebee’s. She will take care of you and make sure you have a great experience. Widest beer selection north of the river, sports bar yes they DO have booths.

Finally had an opportunity to visit this relatively new Old Chicago location in the Liberty area. It was a bit of a mixed bag. We came in during lunch on a Monday and were immediately seated. It’s a bit minimalist in the décor, with chairs and tables evenly laid out on a concrete floor with a few TVs scattered around playing sports. There appeared to be no built-in seating. In other words, no booths. No big deal. We take a table by the window and wait for the server. Nearly 10 minutes later, a server takes our drink order and we add in an appetizer order as well. That’s a bit long to be greeted by a server in my opinion. We finally get everything ordered and our appetizer comes in. Italian Nachos, no peppers. Basically, this is pizza nachos with thin crispy pizza crust as the chips. This is amazing! Entrees arrive. I got a calzone. My wife got a turkey and bacon club. My meal was fine, a bit bready, but all Old Chicago’s calzones have been in my experience. Wife said there was barely any bacon on the sandwich and there was yellow lettuce. Unappetizing and she got rid of it. Not all the lettuce was like this, just a couple of pieces. Otherwise, it was a good sandwich. Now, I don’t recall our server ever coming by to fill glasses. She didn’t deliver any food to the table. She came by once to see if everything was alright. Next time we saw her, she delivered the check. Those were the only times we saw her at our table. Taking orders, checking if everything was alright, delivering the check. She spent all her other time chatting with other servers or not on the floor. I’m sorry, but your job is customer service. Take care of your customers. If you have to have other servers deliver your food or don’t even bother to fill your customers glasses, you are not providing good customer service. 4 stars for the food, but knock off a star for the service. Will we come back? Probably. It’s still good food.

Visited for the first time yesterday. My husband and I were seated immediately and Mahcie, our server was very friendly and helpful with some food substitutions we needed due to an allergy. The only issue we had was after eating some of our pizza I noticed that it contained a few pieces of onion(allergy). I immediately informed Mahcie, who was very apologetic and immediately offered to have another pizza made for us. While waiting for the new item the manager, Taylor Ewing, came over to apologize and also informed me that he would personally make the new pizza as well as comp or meal. I was really surprised at how sincere both Taylor and Mahcie were about the issue. Their response turned the situation around and made me a return customer.

Headed in for a late lunch around the holidays, and we were promptly greeted and seated by the bar. A bit of a pet peeve is that for a place that hypes a wide and varying seasonal beer list, there was not written version of it we could reference. The server rattled them off, but with +10 seasonals on draft, we ended up having to reference an electronic board that shuffled through the beer list and advertisement up by the bar to fully comprehended, so it was a bit difficult to see the full list at any one time. It would have been nice to have even a simple, plain printed list that is replaced daily/biweekly etc. Other than that, we were happy with the variety. The server was more than happy to bring us several samples of beers we’d never had before as we settled on our choices. We had actually come in to use a coupon for a pizza + beer for $ 10. The individual-sized pizzas are plenty big enough to share for a light meal, so we shared a pizza, got 2 beers, and watched a football game on one of the plethora of TVs in the bar area. It seems like it would be a great place to come back for a game-watch party. We really enjoyed the ale-crust, lemon chicken pizza. It has a citrus cream sauce and was topped with a salad dressed in a lemon vinaigrette. Definitely an interesting pizza, and it was very rich with the sauce, so several slices were definitely satisfying.

I have been here 5 or 6 times with 2 to 10 people. We have had a great experience every time! The beer selection is amazing, but not as amazing as the pizza! The double deckeroni is my favorite on thick crust. Cheese curds, pepperoni rolls, salads all are great! I look forward to watching the Royals play while I enjoy some beer and hot wings. Great place to eat and have fun!

By far the worst service we’ve ever had! It was so bad I didn’t even order as I was afraid the manager that was so rude, would spit in my food. Even the waitress was apologizing for how rude the manager was and gave us his name and his bosses name… We eat out all the time and had we not been with a large party we would have left! Just for my husband and 3 kids to eat lunch it was over $ 50(no alcohol either.. Maybe that would have make me like this place if I were drunk… lol)…If I’m going to spend that on pizza… I would like to have good customer service! I never do reviews but the way our group was treated. .I needed to post and save others the horrible experience!

Dont be fooled into a visit thinking they will have Chicago style pizza. Nothing better than Pizza Hut. Even the waitress referred to it as a thick crust, not deep dish. Service sucked! My server Destiny was offended when I asked thar she wipe the dirty bar top. 25−30% of the individual pizza did not have coverage, wine selection was weak. I can excuse the lack of wine choice at a «tap house», but not the service and food quality. Might as well have gone to Chilis or Applebees down the street snd used the tabletop computer to order, probably would have had a better experience than with Destiny.

Came in on Sunday afternoon so good place to catch Football without the overhead speakers blaring in your ears like some places are. The jalapeño pretzel with beer cheese sauce was awesome! I could have made a meal of it right there. Had the double deckeroni pizza. Sweet pepperoni paradise!

Pizza Hut would be half the price and better quality. Not«Chicago Style» pizza, it is simply thick crust with average ingredients. Obviously lots of start up issues, service is not good every one of the wait staff all seem to struggle entering a simple order in the system and delivering what you order. All employees seem resigned to fact«that is the way it is». I was told that if the billing ended up incorrect to call back in a few days?
