Clayview Country Club

The tennis facility is great at Clayview and the staff is vey knowledgable. The pool has been busy this summer and we’ve enjoyed the clubhouse!

This isn’t that sad place that probably used to be nice a long time ago, it’s pretty damn nice now. I’m not sure you can really call it a country club though, it’s a tennis club… with pools.
There are a half dozen indoor courts and ten or so outside courts. Along with the courts, there are three pools; a main pool, a smaller toddler pool and an even smaller baby pool. There’s a small pro shop that’ll have tennis balls, some clothing and bags but clearly that’s not a focus. There are two areas in the club house for programs, yoga and what not, and a common area with televisions and plenty of chairs for gauging how the Joneses are doing.
I like the place, I do. Personally, I don’t know a lot of the members (or any, really), and just feel like we’re not in the same circles. I’m a Jeep Wrangler guy, they’re Escalade people. The onus is on me to branch out, hell, they may be on urbanspoon right now talking about some pretentious ass in a Jeep.
I digress, memberships are reasonable, they have a lot of adult and youth programs, as well as special events. So, yay! I’m a fan.
