Very easy to miss, stopped here for the convenience of it being in a library. Ordered a strawberry scone. This was, without a doubt, the best scone I’ve ever had. Haven’t tried the espresso yet, but I plan to.

This is a pleasant, but pretty generic place to enjoy a quick bite to eat or coffee inside a corner of the Central Library. There is more a sense of it being an upscaled, convenience store type café, but it is run by the Anderson Restaurant Group that manages Hereford House/Pierpont’s. There are ample plug-ins for computers and the library supplies the free wifi. The staff seemed friendly and it’s a more comfortable place to conduct informal business meetings or do work than a dedicated coffee shop as there are plenty of library patrons milling about.
