I really want to give them 2 ½ stars. The gals were very nice but service could have been a bit quicker. We just popped in for a quick drink… ordered the hummus because we thought it would be fast to come out. Not so much. It was good when we finally got it. The drinks were ok — I ordered an old fashion and it wasn’t that great. Should of ordered a beer.

Walked in at 6:45. Told to sit where I wanted. Sat down and waited for one of the 2 servers. Place was about 30% full. One waitress was standing at the bar texting. The other was at a table of one dude talking. I left at 6:58 after I couldn’t even get a glass of water or a menu.

Came for happy hour on a Thursday, $ 1 off craft drafts as well as other drink specials. Several appetizers to choose from a $ 6 menu. I had a draft beer that was perfectly cold and the zucchini appetizer. The zucchini was plentiful, but very meh and bland served with watered down ranch. Very unimpressed. Service however was decent, unlike other reviews saying otherwise. The waitress checked in often and was very polite.

Nina did a great job. The sidewinder fries were awesome. Loaded is a must! Cold beer and good food.

I stopped here for a quick lunch while staying at a nearby hotel. This place seemed like a good place to drink but the food is horrible. The potato skins came as a baked potato cut in half. They were full of overcooked hard potato instead of cheese and bacon. They were definety not crispy s they should be. The chicken alfredo was equally horrible. The chicken was so over cooked it was hard. The Alfredo pasta was bland which seems hard to do for alfredo sauce. The sauce was also old and had that congealed look and feel to it. The wait staff was friendly and the only saving grace for this place.

Would have liked to been able to review the food as I do enjoy bar food. I sat down and had the three waitresses walk by me a minimum of 3 times each with out being acknowledged. I sat there for 5 – 10 min, made eye contact with two of them to no avail. The place wasn’t even that busy. I worked in restaurants for years. Pretty piss poor service and basic waitressing. I went next door and had BBQ which was fantastic. I stay near their location regularly, I can scratch one location off my list and it is this place. As Charles Barkley would say, it’s turrible. If I knew how to give negative stars I would do it.

We ate here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was dismal. It was dark and completely dead. But that’s not why the 2 star rating. The 2 stars is because of the bartender being the only server and he was completely disconnected. He was talking on his cell phone when he finally noticed us to drop off menus. He didn’t end his call though but instead told the person on the other line, «hold on a second, I’ve got customers.» Food was excellent but the horrific service overshadowed any positive experience to be had. Maybe it’s a different story at night cause the place looked like an amazing place to grab drinks and dance and play pool with friends. They even have a stage for live music. If ever I come back it’ll be at night but never again for lunch.

Nick & Ninos is bar food, ticked up a notch. Looks like you could go through 3 venue phases during a Friday night. We were there around 7, so the dinner crowd was rolling in, but the pool players/golden tee crowd was hanging around, drinking beer and downing nachos by the plateful… We were finishing up and the disco ball was starting to spin, the only thing missing was a chef demonstration of the food we ordered… fun place to people watch… We had the typical bar food, burgers, salads and I had a meatball sandwich… all the food was good, not outstanding, but overall the combination of food, people watching and games will bring us back on another night of culinary adventure…

Visited this restaurant last night. I ordered the happy hour nachos with chicken. They were awesome to me because the chips were light & thin & crispy. Plenty toppings. We also Ordered the grilled shrimp dinner. It came with rice and broccoli. It was SO healthy and YUMMY. Wow! We also ordered a salmon salad but it didn’t come out and we were ready to go. So they took it off the ticket and still have it to us: the salmon was AMAZING in that salad! I was apprehensive due to it being a pub/bar place. We also played darts afterwards in the back of restaurant.

What a shame. This use to be a great place to eat, never again now. Between the feta«blue cheese» and greasy taco salad. The food is scary while being nasty. The three young high school ruffian acting waitresses? Making comments about whores and and acting above the customers makes one uncomfortable while eating crap food. The only good thing was the blonde bar back who should escape as soon as possible.

PROS: Fried Pickles are to die for, best my wife and I have had. Great place to watch a sporting event, nice TV setup and Darts, Pool Tables so nice environment if that’s what your looking for. No smoking which is great to us. CONS: Went in last Saturday they were having an issue with their plumbing, there were multiple people mopping up around a waiters station. Burgers, they say are fresh made there but that’s not true you can tell that they have been pre fabbed to perfect around and they were dried out. I asked to speak to someone about it and they send over another waitress that was one of the owners niece. Felt like a hockey puck on a bun. They said they would replace it but I didn’t want to tempt fate again. I wouldn’t have minded the burger if they didn’t say it was fresh ground and made there when it’s obviously not. Fresh ground beef has a different taste than frozen, I told our waitress that I could go to LC’s down the street and that’s hat a fresh ground hamburger should look and taste like. We will be back because it was comfortable setup to watch sporting events but I won’t be trying the burgers again.

This is a favorite spot near KC airport. Always a large variety of craft beer. We tried mostly bar food but menu include steaks etc, never been disappointed.

To start off the pub/restaurant is definitely a bar feel with pool tables, darts, & video games for the kids. It’s a great place to watch the game if you’re into sports. I read that the service was a bit lacking but when we met Alyssa she was pleasant and was quite helpful contrary to some of the reviews. She pointed out her favorites on the menu and she right! She checked up on us constantly and made my one beer turn into three. A fantastic server. The beer selection is excellent for a establishment of this size with over 20 tap handles that include the craptastic Budweiser selection but with a solid collection of craft brews that everyone should enjoy. Now for the food. The food was actually very surprisingly good for a bar. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was a big portion that I normally could not finish but it was crispy and hot with the buffalo sauce dripping from it I polished it off! Delicious! The fries were outstanding! All in all it was such a good experience I came back for a second visit!

Let me start by saying the food is great. It’s not consistently amazing but this is a strip mall restaurant so I don’t have huge expectations. Overall the food and regular waitstaff is 4 stars. But if you deal with Nichole at the bar for carry out you’ll have a zero star experience. Seriously, sit at a booth or table so you can deal with one of their nice waiters/waitresses. I called three times today to try and place an order — no one picked up. This was the fourth day over the past couple of weeks I had tried to get through and order lunch for my office. Honestly, I was worried they had closed so I just went there to order in person to see what the deal was. I was directed to the bartender and told her that I had tried to call several times and maybe something was wrong with their phones. I was trying to be helpful so they didn’t miss out on business. Her response? An extremely snotty, «That’s what happens when it’s busy» then she walked off. No joke. I looked around and there were maybe 5 or 6 tables filled and at least 2 other waitstaff besides her. The place was not out of control. When she came back I ordered and then sat at the bar to wait for the food. No offer to get me water while I waited. Again, I shrugged it off. Then I get the bill and I’m overcharged. She explained the charge and in doing so, realized that I was actually overcharged by at least one order and offered to take that mistake off«if I wanted her to»…as if it was optional to fix a mistake. At this point I just wanted to leave because I was fed up with the attitude. I asked for the manager and after talking with her it was obvious that I was wasting my time. I told them to go ahead and run my card so I could get back to work. So the bartender did — and kept the known overcharge on the bill! I happened to see the owner and told him the whole story and he apologized and offered a to-go soda. No thanks — just get a bartender that doesn’t treat me like crap when I walk in, overcharge me, then throw massive amounts of attitude when she’s asked to correct her mistake.

The food was good for bar food. Lots of TV to catch the game. The BBQ ham melt was a really good sandwich. I would not order the onion rings it was $ 8 for 8 rings very sadThe server takes away from the dining experience. If Samantha is your waitress run.

Not that great. I went because the Unilocal reviews raved about the buffalo wings and I was hungry. After a mix up as to whether I ordered sauce for the hot wings(I said I didn’t want blue cheese or ranch dressing, but the cook thought that meant no sauce at all), I got my wings and was very underwhelmed. The wings probably should have been broken down into pieces, which would have made them easier to eat. They were large wing portions which would have been better suited for making fried chicken instead of buffalo wings. They were piping hot, which was much appreciated, but when trying to eat a hot wing, picking up smaller portions makes it much easier. The sauce itself was not hot at all. It was thin with little flavor, and more greasy than spicy. When I finished the waitress asked how I liked the wings and I told her I didn’t think they were great. She said that she wasn’t a fan of them either because she didn’t think that they fit the mold of traditional buffalo wings. I wish she had given me that tidbit when I placed my order. Everyone who ordered booze only seemed to be enjoying themselves, but maybe there was a reason no one was ordering food.

I’ve lived pretty close to this bar and grill for years but had never checked it out until tonight. After an impromptu visit with friends(wine was part of the equation) we decided we were hungry and they suggested Nick and Nino’s. So we headed here to grab a bite. I was expecting burgers and fries and bar food. Boy was I wrong! Now, don’t get me wrong because it is indeed bar food but I’d call it «upscale» bar food instead. What do they have? Seafood(shrimp, scallops, salmon) pasta, burgers, steaks, salads, apps, sandwiches, etc. A pretty large selection and surely something for everyone. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp(Jerk seasoning) with vegetables and rice. Surprisingly it was VERYGOOD! I ate the entire thing. :) Grilled seasoned shrimp were perfect. Rice was tasty. Veggies were fresh cut(zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, tomato) and seasoned and sautéed. There’s a full bar on one side, dining area in the middle(complete with karaōke stage!) and a game area on the other with a pool table and some foosball tables. This isn’t a fancy joint for a first date. But it is a nice and friendly, busy and a little loud, bar and grill with tasty food at reasonable prices! PS Next time we are going back(without kids) to live it up a little on the karaōke stage. ;-)

Cool bar kinda out in the middle of no where. Clean, open, good décor, but the need to dust, this place is super dusty. Didnt have liqour, just wanted a late night meal. Had chicken lettuce wraps, nice kick, peanut sauce complimented the dish well… cant go wrong with this one. The burger and steak philly was bland and dry, we used half a bottle of steak sauce to make our sandwiches abit more edible. The fries are super delish when not so cold… yeah…our food was cold when it got to us… let down. The fried seemed to be battered, which gave a nice texture and flavor.

My wife had a Groupon gift card for Christmas and found this place nearby us to try. We paid a visit during lunch time. I saw they had a special for Fish and Chips, so I decided right there to order it. When we walked in, I marveled that the place was quite big and clean. Plenty of tvs. They even have a small stage for a live music or for karaōke. My wife ordered a turkey club and I ordered the special. The waitress was very helpful and nice. We got our food quickly. My wife loved her sandwich and we both loved the spiral fries. They are not the standard curly fries. They are large, thick, and delicious. The only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 star review was the fish. It was not very good. Thankfully everything else, the service, the fries, the atmosphere, was very good. We will come back!

Totally unexpected. On a Sunday night, dropping my sister off at MCI airport, looked around for a bite to grab prior to ditching her at the curb. Tried to go to one restaurant, and the coordinates were wrong; it wasn’t there. Our second choice turned out to be closed on Sundays. As did our third. By this point we were in the parking lot shared by Nick & Ninos and we were tired of looking, so we stopped. Saw the high Unilocal rating upon check-in. Whoa. This place is for real. Chicken wings were amongst the best I’ve had. My sister loved her pasta dish. My salad was maybe not the best I’ve had, but respectable, for sure it was a good spinach salad(just a little wet for my tastes). Shocked, surprised, and impressed by the quality of food here. And the server was attentive and friendly too. This place is a nice hidden gem.
