I would have given this five stars but it took two weeks to the day for them to do a refurbishment. I’m pretty patient and the fact I didn’t have a vacuum was a good excuse to be lazy and binge on Netflix, however I would have really liked them to touch base and give me an update as to where they were with my machine. But hey, that’s just me and it would have made for a better customer experience. On the plus side the service was great. The guy was helpful, friendly and funny. Also, my machine is running like a dream. No more excuses for being a lazy housekeeper.

Midwest Vacuum not only fixed my Dyson I use at home, but also helped me get an office vacuum working again in mere minutes. They are knowledgeable, efficient and affordable. Why buy a new vac when Midwest Vacuum can fix yours? Their service fixes suction – but definitely doesn’t suck!

I took my sad Dyson in to get repaired because I live in the area. It wasn’t working properly, and they serviced it and replaced the switch. Unfortunately, after paying the $ 125 approx, I got it home and it still didn’t work. I took it back and they told me it would be an additional $ 20. Eventually I called them back(they had it for a while) to let them know I would be in to pick it up and fortunately got to speak with the owner. She was inquiring about the series of events that didn’t add up, although I wasn’t complaining… and she waived the fee and told me they found a blockage that they should have caught when doing the service. I’m really glad I got to talk to her — that was great customer service. Not sure if I will go back or not unless she’s there.

I bought a Riccar vacuum from Midwest Vacuum a few years back. My initial buying experience was okay, but when I took it in for repair, I was disgusted by the service I received. The vacuum was plugged and before looking at the vacuum, the two men working began accusing me of getting the vacuum wet or sucking up something damp with the vacuum. I felt I had to go on the defensive and insisted that I had not done this to MY vacuum — I mean really, if I want to run the machine in the bathtub, that’s my business, right? It’s not like the thing had a warranty. Anyway, it was merely plugged and the guy who unplugged it looked like something the cat drug in. Once again, I just felt I was being treated in a condescending way by these two rude men. When the man was finished unplugging the vacuum — it was a simple fix that took him about 30 seconds, I asked how much I owed so I could get the hell out of there. Simultaneously, one man said«nothing» and the one who unplugged it said«$ 10». I gave the guy his $ 10 and will never go back. What a slimy way to do business. I brag about my Riccar when asked, but I specifically tell people to steer clear of Midwest Vacuum.
