Went there twice and the short dude with the star or whatever on his chest was disrespectul BOTH times. The first time it was subtle the second time it j7st was just outright disrespectul. I came in to make an order and the guy stands there on the phone for about 3 minutes. Didnt even acknowledge i was there lol. I went back the second time because im encouraged to support our local and community businesses but i haven’t been back because i dont owe the jam team nothing and wont be treated as such. I suggest the carribean restaurant off main. Much better service

Just tried their food truck in Westport. Great Jerk Chicken and the beef patty is insane. Great scotch bonnet flavor without the pain. Excellent service as well. I can’t wait to try the restaurant.

If you want great flavor and portions for a great price, this is your spot! The wife and I went in hungry and left knowing we are going to try the whole menu. She had the jerk chicken it was spicy and delicious. I had the Bassa fish and it was terrific.

If you live in KC area and don’t eat here you might be literally losing out on life. The best most tender jerk and curry chicken ever. Order a patty and don’t forget the coco bread. You’ll thank me later. Dont be scared to try the curry, if your not familiar its nothing close to Indian curry. Customer for life.

This place is legit. As soon as you walk in you get a big waft of tasty jamaican food. I had the oxtail and it was very tender and delicious. The taste was certainly unique and had a fantastic blend of herbs and spices. I wish this place had more real estate as I missed it a couple times driving by. Seating inside is rather limited, they only had a couple tables.

This is one of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve ate at, and my favorite in KC. The food is seasoned great, and the owner is really cool. Even the burger has its own flair. Like some other folks mentioned you want to call ahead as there’s no where to sit down and the food does take a minute.

Pretty lively today! Jamdown Kitchen satisfies yet again. On this second visit I brought a friend along hoping to share the Caribbean vibe. I had the Curry Chicken and he had the Jerk. Along with two beef patties for a little treat. Great Jamaican food option in Kansas City with great hours.
