My Favorite Hookah bar! Great people VERY comfortable and the best shisha iv had i cant smoke anything else nothing is comparable, WIFI is available very kept bathrooms and music is very soothing and enjoyable without blowing my ear drums and we can have clear conversation with out yelling the owner is very involved with his customers satisfaction and business. This is my place to go anytime of the week! Congratulations Joseph on your rising successful business!

I haven’t been to a lounge in a while, and this one has a good atmosphere. It has a club feel with lights throughout the lounge and the music is not too loud either. The owner came to say hi and ask how things were going, which is always cool. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is pretty warm in here and not a lot of circulation. Other than that I’ve had a good time and would recommend to someone who wants to see some KC night life.
Edit: I learned AC was broken and my feedback was addressed. It got a lot cooler and it really did turn my experience into 5 stars. I am glad I came here over another venue. Also — the staff make sure coals are hot without having to ask, which is great customer service in my view!

I am a hookah lover through and through, so while on a business trip to the Kansas City area I wanted to experience what the area had to offer. I sampled every hookah bar in town from Sinbad’s to Sahara and was left disappointed by either the service, the furniture, the environment, or worse the shisha. I was about ready to give up on KC’s hookah scene until I came across this gem. Perfection is how I would describe it. Excellent service from the counter to the coals, very small and friendly staff, extremely attentive. The crowd is mature, the music is fantastic but not overwhelmingly loud. They don’t serve food but that doesn’t spoil the experience at all since they are after all a true hookah lounge and not a restaurant or bar that serves hookah on the side. Hands down best hookah in KC, no contest.

My boyfriend and I wandered into J lounge looking for a nice hookah bar, and this place was perfect! Friendly staff, intimate atmosphere. Excellent prices and quality sheesha. Our coals were replaced frequently which has been an issue with other nearby hookah places. Their tea was great and the music was fun! Will definitely be back!

Cool spot. Came on a a late Thursday night and there was a group and 2 seperate individuals in the lounge. Plenty of couches/​areas to sit as it wasn’t crowded. Music was cool (in a different language) and then it switched up so that was nice. Music was loud enough that we could have a casual conversation without everyone hearing but low enough that we coukd hear eachother. Owner (assuming he was the owner) was friendly and came to our table several times to switch our coals and encouraged boyfriend to return (it was his first time smoking hookah) Will likely come back while I’m here visiting :)

While in Kansas City I conducted a Unilocal search and selected this lounge based on the pics. I met the owner, Joseph who is an absolutely kind, easy going guy with positive energy. He and his crew extended a welcome mat to me and I had a wonderful time. I had the mint hookah and spiced tea. Joseph also allowed me to sample his house blend hookah (gaga) which is a nice subtle fruity blend.
There is plenty of comfortable seating, low lighting and a nice music mix (reggae, hip-​hop, etc.). If you are in the city, definitely check it out and share a cup of tea and convo with Joseph… you will be glad you did.

I love hookah, and I’m so glad it’s becoming popular in Kansas City. Found this place on Unilocal,walked in and fell in love. The staff was so nice. We ordered a caramel flavor, and I enjoyed it. One of the staff asked us if we would try his own flavor he put together no extra charge. We did, and it was really good. The atmosphere is great, the service is great, the hookah was great. I will definitely be spreading the word about this place

Great service, quality Khalil Mamoon hookahs (not the cheap Chinese ones), great shisha, reasonable prices and friendly staff.
It’s worth checking this place out. I met the owner and his staff know how to make a good hookah. Some other places in KC taste bad, burn easy and use poor quality products, not Js.

This is hands down my favorite hookah spot in KC. The place is fairly new and has a different vibe than the others that I’ve visited in KC. It’s really laid back and they play good music. The seats are really comfortable and the hookah is good. The crowd is usually mature and they also offer free wifi here.
Unlike other hookah spots that I’ve been to in KC, you seat yourself when you walk in and they bring a menu to you. I also like that you pay at the end so that you can avoid walking to the counter and making multiple payments. Another great thing about this place is that it is located right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area.
Overall, I think this place is like a hidden gem in KC. I think business will be booming once the weather breaks, so I hope it doesn’t become overcrowded and lose it’s coolness as it grows. The atmosphere and music are great and the hookah flavors are good. This is definitely a place to try.

Simply excellent customer service. Best place to hang out with your group of friends. Nice music. Conveniently located next to restaurant and café. Def going back there and have good time. Very confy if you would like to do some reading while enjoying nicly made hookah and coffee and/​tea.
