Epic Bike and Sport

So I’m starting a new extreme hobby… that is mountain biking! I’m a fitness and outdoors junkie and is willing to try anything new in that category. Mountain biking has been on my list of new things to try, had has been for a while now. Finally got the courage to purchase an entry level mountain bike… and by purchase I mean my Fiancée treatin’ me as a birthday gift, thanks babe.
Before checking out Epic Bike and Sports, we had gone to a different bike shop a day before, The Wheel Cyclery (please refer to my review for this store) nothing wrong with this store very informative staff, I just found MY bike at Epic. We were very impress upon entering the store, bikes, bikes, and more bikes… plus accessories ha. Epic mainly carries Specialized (the brand) bikes and they have LOTS of it, from road, to hybrid, and mountain, they have it all.
We were greeted immediately walking in and totally looking like newbs, no worries these guys don’t judge nor are they pushy. I am definitely a newbie to the world of cycling, especially mountain biking. I informed them I was looking into a new hobby and needed an entry level mountain bike, they led me to several different bikes, even ones that fit my height! I’m 4’10 by the way… really no joke, I am that short. So finding anything in my size, well lets just say the struggle is real. Alas, they carried a bike in my size, yay! Even let me go for a test drive around the parking lot. It was comfortable and smooth so I ended up picking out that bike and ordered it in the color scheme to my liking. The ordering process was a breeze, we ordered on a Monday and they said it would arrive by Thursday, built and ready to go Friday/​Saturday.
Overall customer service was great! All were knowledgeable and informative on the subject matter. These guys know their stuff! Oh, if you purchase a bike from them they offer lifetime warranty, and if you bring in the bike within the first year of purchase they will do a quick tune/​clean up of the entire bike free of charge! Also, they gave me a free helmet worth up to $ 40…I’ll take it! I love that they do not want their customers leaving without safety gear. So if you’re looking for bikes in general this is your store!

I’m a weekend warrior and have gone in for service on a couple of bikes I have bought elsewhere. They are courteous, quick, and reasonably priced.
They have tuned up a vintage Puch road bike, as well as a modern Diamondback for me, and both bikes are in awesome shape after they worked on them. They take the time to ride the bike after they do the work to make sure it’s just right.
The next bike I buy may come from their shop!

Bought a mountain bike from Mark who was extremely helpful and not at all pushy. He saw that I was interested in a certain bike and explained everything about the bike. I did not buy it that day but did some research and bought it a month later. They have good prices and are very service oriented. You will not find a bad employee here!
Recommend you come here for great advice before you buy anywhere else!

We had a great shopping experience today thanks to salesman David. David helped size my son for a new bicycle and his recommendations were greatly appreciated. Great suggestions on buying a larger size and took the time to understand my sons taste. They didn’t have the color he wanted in stock and we didn’t feel any pressure to compromise. We are looking forward to getting his bike later in the week and highly recommend Epic Bikes.
