Days Inn Kansas City MO Near Worlds of Fun

We reserved this room for 4 nights. Had never stayed here before
It’s cheap that I can say
But it is run down … Beds are terrible !!
We had two queen beds and didn’t matter which one we slept on our backs were killing us the next morning
We drive a truck across country and wanted to take a few days off during Thanksgiving… We stay at many hotels a cross the US. This isn’t the worst but nowhere near the best either
As for breakfast I don’t know. We never tried it out whole stay
Yes there are a lot of hooker and drug dealers
Our last night there two cars crashed into each other in the parking lot which ended up in a fight … Smh
The room was clean I’ll give them that
Staff friendly
They are pet friendly
Also have truck an trailer parking on the street or can get one maybe two bobtails in the parking lot
I gave it a 3 star because it was cheap clean an friendly staff
However we wouldn’t stay here again

I am giving this one star because you have to give it something. The area is seedy, which is strange to me because right across the street on the other side of QT, there are nice hotels & we’ve stayed at those before. There were garbage bags full outside. And they were everywhere! I was drinking but I’m not hallucinating when I say I saw a bug run across the floor & yelled to my boyfriend. I ended up grabbing a shoe & killing it. We decided to stay here for the price — we didn’t plan on being in KC long & definitely not in the room. We were both exhausted to go do anything & ended up going to sleep. There are stains on the nasty kitchen carpet. Just gross! And btw, my boyfriend started itching the day we left (Sunday) and almost three days later, he still has mega itching going on. Get it together, Days Inn !

Our room wasn’t so bad, it was clean but the bathroom floor had a crack. Our room was updated so it didn’t look bad. Outside is just nasty and smelly. The bed was a king and the room was pretty spacey. I only stayed here one night, but it was okay for the price. This hotel is very close to worlds of fun but not downtown kc. We won’t stay here again endless it’s for worlds of fun.

Beyond terrible. They have like a used car lot in the parking lot for some car auction. Breakfast was a mess only waffles left at 8:30. Place is falling apart. I reversed 4 nights though Expedia. After I checked in the next day I was wanting to leave 1 day early. Went to ask at desk and the person before me was getting out of their Expedia room reservation somehow. But I couldn’t for whatever reason. I have had multiple places work with me after an Expedia reservation. This place just refused. I understand the reservation policy, my fault, but stayed 3 nights and just wanted out of one. Terrible!

This place is great if you like hookers and drug dealers! Nasty dirty I wouldn’t let my dog stay here! Don’t stay here!!!

Its poor bad outdated décor just overall bad was cheap only reason i picked it should have checked Unilocal before hand just awful minus the bed its good

Front desk staff not friendly. Location is pretty run down. Room door had a large gap. Air/​Noise comes in. Door didn’t feel secure. Found hair around bathtub. Gross! Even worse, the sheets had some unmentionable stains. This will be my first and last visit to this location. I don’t recommend, especially if your a germaphobe!

Reasons not to visit this Days Inn:
— The creepy and very rude guy at the front desk who talked our ear off about how one of my friends looks like his second grade teacher when all we wanted was to check in, dammit!
— Our room smelled like mold.
— The regular bed was fine, but the fold-​out sofabed was just awful. Lined with plastic, my friends must’ve felt like four-​year-​olds whose mothers are afraid they’re going to wet the bed!
— The complimentary breakfast sucked. The only redeeming thing about it was the waffle makers. Other than that, simply awful.
