Just happened to be driving by this place on a Tuesday and what do I see? A large banner saying«Taco Tuesday $ 1». A quick U-turn later and I was enjoying some really good authentic Mexican tacos. If I could underline it, I would; these are authentic tacos. No, not the authentic tacos you get at mi ranchito or jose peppers, the authentic tacos you get on the streets of Mexico City. Except way more meat! There are many of these hole in the wall type places to get the real thing in the metro but this one serves some of the best and with the most meat. I recommend the carnitas or the chorizo, delish. This place is actually a tienda. They have a butcher, produce, and a wide range of imported mexican goods. Do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of mango juice to cool the heat of the salsa picosa served here; just the way it should be.
