Wendy’s

We love Wendy’s, we go all the time. We waited 20 minutes before getting to the screen to order our meal. Of course, we just assumed after the holiday they might be short on staff and understood. The girl taking the orders was spacey and not on top of her work responsibilities. Her hands were filthy as she put the tops on our beverages. Before leaving their grounds I pulled out my #1 single cheeseburger and it was super cold! Of course the drive thru was packed so we carried on our way. The fries were soggy and gross. My Diet Coke tastes nothing like Diet Coke. Won’t ever give the Kankakee location another try. Ever. Come on Wendy’s.

I stopped here with my boss on my way home from work, we went drive-​thru. I ordered a Jr bacon cheeseburger, two orders of four piece spicy chicken nuggets, a value soft drink, and a value chocolate frosty (free with 2014 keytag). He ordered two Jr bacon cheeseburgers with fries and a large soft drink. Our food was decent but I think we waited 15 minutes for our food.

Wendys (greater than) McDonalds (greater than) Burger King. Unilocal won’t let me do the symbols for this to make any sense, but this is how I place the fast food chains. Wendy’s tastes the best out of the three and seems to be the least greasiest to me. My menu favorites are the spicy chicken nuggets and the chili. Their food is always warm and usually tasty.
This particular location though can be sometimes slow and I’ve had plenty of bad experiences in the past. One time, I was treated so rudely by a manager at the Drive-​Thru that I sent an email to corporate. Their corporate CS obviously doesn’t give a rats ass though cause I never got a response. However, lately they’ve been better and I haven’t had any trouble or issues with the service.
I would give 3 stars to this Wendy’s since I consider the food to be pretty good for a fast food chain, but the service you expect will be a surprise. It may be really good or extremely terrible.
