Wayde helped me soo much! He was very helpful. We spent 3 hours looking for a frame. He was helpful to the end. Sasha was also very knowledgable about the type of frame I needed. I have a very high prescription so I needed something with high index lens, short width and height. It was challenging, but we found something. I was happy w my selection and I was glad to get their opinions! Wayde was usually the person in the lab. So he was very helpful and I give this place 5 stars because they are so nice, patient and they have a lot of aloha. Mahalo!

I am so impressed! Great customer service. I went to Lens Crafters 1st, but what a terrible experience. The guy there was no help… I was discouraged until I went to this place. Wish I had gone here in the first place. Well, you live and learn…

I am a long time though not recent customer. Damaged my frames recently. They were bent so much, other eyewear stores refused to try repairing them. Returned here and Devin said he’d try. A few minutes later and they’re fixed! Couldn’t believe it. Splendid job and there was no charge. They really take care of your every need.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Any and all your eye care/​wear needs can be done here! Great doctors and great staff, GREAT SERVICE! They’ve exceeded my expectations every single time I needed some help. Whether it be adjusting my glasses or helping me replace my lenses, they’re always glad to help! Conveniently located in an enclosed mall, you can drop off your glasses and return at a later time to pick them up when ready.

My family and I have seeing Drs Matsuda and Machida for eyewear products since 1992. Both doctors are excellent and the staff is very good. Five of the six of us have been getting contacts and eyeglasses from Windward Vision Center at Windward Mall and have been very satisfied with the service. Once in a while my nose pads or ear pieces or I’ll lose eyeglass screws and their staff is always there to help. There was a incident a few years ago where the lab who was making prescription sunglasses had to redo the glasses twice before getting it right. I wasn’t charged additional for the remakes. I highly recommend these folks! Thanks Windward Vision Center!

I’ve been going to Dr. Marchida at Windward Vision Center at Windward Mall since I can remember. They have a very friendly staff and are very knowledgable about everything related to optometry. I’ve never had any issues with them and they explain everything very thoroughly. They do have a wait period even when you have an appointment but that is expected with most eye doctors. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a new optometrist.

Just picked up a pair of glasses after having a temple replaced. Windward’s optometry clinic ordered a replacement for a Marchon Airlock metal frame. We specifically asked them to call us if the piece chosen from Marchon’s website catalog was different than the glasses being repaired. We got a call a couple of weeks later saying the glasses were ready to be picked up. The replacement temple is a matte finish, where the other parts of the frame (bridge and opposite temple are polished. The technician’s explanation was: ‘that’s the best we could do’. No call, just install and say, ‘see ya’.
Not me. Windward Vision Center won’t see me again.

I also went to the Kailua Office for my check up. It was the first time I ever had an eye exam and I’m glad I went. I have VSP insurance and I only had to pay $ 10 for the exam and a pair of glasses that arrived within a week. They have a ton of different styles to choose from in the store. the receptionist was very nice and the doctor listened very well and did a very thorough job. I would highly reccommend this place to anyone. I prefer the Kailua Office over the Windward Mall location because of the privacy when trying on glasses and also because it is closer to my house.

Dr. Matsuda was great! He and the lady at the desk were so kind, positive, and upbeat. He took us step by step explaining every exam procedure, and double checking results. Past optometrist have rushed exams and resulting in going back for new prescription.
