Taco Del Mar

If you come here for expecting real Mexican food… You’re going to have a bad time.
It’s my first time eating at a Taco Del Mar. It’s set up like Subway where they make it when you order, and they make (at least the tacos) right in front of you. I’m not sure if this is considered «fast food», but let’s say that the choice of grounded beef, chicken, or pork was ready made and heated along side the other toppings: such as: shredded lettuce, tomatoes, etc…
I had the shredded pork taco which was pretty tasty and a good serving of the meat stuffed into the taco. But 2 tacos for $ 6??? Ehhh, I guess the food quality is a step above Taco Bell (though I don’t eat fast food, so I really don’t know haha).
If there was something I would have a gripe about, would be their trash bins. Yeah, they wanted you I save the plastic trays and NOT throw them away, but they have such a small opening to throw your actual trash away in the bin, you’d have to crumble each piece of trash to fit that hole.

I saw a sign that «kids eat free». But not sure on the days, times, and what it might say on the fine print.
