Mark’s Japanese European Auto

On vacation in HI, visiting my grandma, I borrow her car to run errands and notice she needed some maintenance done. I found Mark’s through a quick google search, and to my surprise uncovered a hidden auto shop gem. Very clean and professional service, honest and modest reps, and a happy grandma!

Had one of my vehicles worked on, not too long ago. I had it arranged so AAA would pick up and drop off the vehicle for me, because of my work/​family schedule. Staff was very accommodating to this arrangement.
Tai worked on my car and is a very talented mechanic. He fixed all of the issues I had (very bad power steering pressure hose leak and a bad idle sensor). He had the car finished, same day! He gave me a great deal on the parts (which he was able to locate the same day) and labor! I came the next morning to sign the paperwork and have it picked up by AAA. Just by telling him what was wrong, he was able to figure out the problem. I have since drove the car over 500 miles, and it has run extremely well. No evidence of even having the problems he fixed!
I will definitely be sending him any business I can in the future, and will definitely be returning for all of my automotive needs!

Brought in my Sienna with A/​C issues, squealing, and needing an oil change. Squealing was identified and fixed immediately. They did good work and charged a fair price to evacuate our A/​C system, add more refrigerant and dye to identify the location of a possible leak. Oil change was quite pricey (twice what it would cost at Jiffy Lube), but owner offered significant discount (to a more resonable price) after a short discussion. Overall, I wasn’t please with the price of the oil change especially since I plan on being a repeat customer, but I did leave happy after the discount. Will be returning. Thanks guys.
