A little disappointed. I talked my family into trying this place out since it’s gluten free. GF fresh cooked bfast food is not easy to find, so while the food was mediocre and pricey(most of the bfast dishes were about $ 15), it was still appreciated. What sucked is the snarky waitress. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. By then, our little one was having an absolute melt-down because he was so hungry(thank goodness for outdoor seating). The waitress brought out a couple of dishes and I asked ‘how long before the eggs arrive’(referring to the child’s bfast)? The response was ‘it’s coming, but I only have two hands!’ to which she abruptly turned her back on me and returned to the kitchen. I could have done without the sass so early in the morning… lucky for you I had my coffee.

Vegans, this place is quite good. Honest, easy and very delicious food. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend dining here. There’s a good variety of dishes with plenty of add on options to include with your meal. Good juice drinks too. My only slight complaint is that they charge $ 6 for half of an avocado. That’s kind of high, even for being on an island. Otherwise, no complaints. It’s worth a visit.

This place is like a bastion of vegetarian goodness in a sea of overpriced, unhealthy hotel restaurant food. Cannot describe what a relief it was to find this place, and so close to our hotel, too! Everything on the menu looked so good that it was hard to decide. We ended up sharing the hummus wrap and the curry avocado salad, and both were off the charts good. Staff was super nice, too. This place has a great vibe to boot — really mellow and warm. I left grinning ear to ear and, as I told my husband, «blissed out on vegetables.» We will certainly be back before the end of our trip(if I’m lucky, more than once!)

My husband and I came to have breakfast here everyday of our trip. We could not get enough of their Acai bowl: loaded with fresh fruits and each day was different. It was the perfect way to start the morning. The cost is a bit steep, even for fresh ingredients.

Amazing food! Super fresh, great wraps and salads. They would get 5 stars but they completely rip you off on drinks. They charge $ 5 for a flavor water. Get the same drink at food land for $ 1 at the end of the center, Get the food to go and eat on the patio area.

The food seems solid… The staff is not overly friendly. Inside seems like it could use a wipe down, but that could be due to the fact that you bus your own table. Plenty of outdoor seating. A must in this climate! My vegan banana bread French toast was perfectly toasted and served up with real maple syrup. A must!(Otherwise not honest! lol) Just could have wished for more pleasantries. Doesn’t really make me feel like tipping when everything is DIY.

Would rate 3.5 if possible. It’s great to have a convenient vegetarian option. Staff service left me wanting more! I get that it’s a self-serve type of place, but I wish more service was offered… The guy who took my order seemed confused that I wanted to place an order. He was very slow to ring it up– maybe I wasn’t clear in my order? Who knows?! Vegetarian chili is delish! My husband enjoyed his veggie burger. Drinks were way too expensive so we skipped those. Nice variety of menu items. Overall, a satisfactory experience but not dying to return.

Best vegan food on the island! So happy to find this gem. First time I’ve had French toast in ages, and coconut to boot! Awesome French press Kona coffee, local fruit cup, and ginger kombucha. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Great baked goods and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I visited this place reading the other reviews on Unilocal. We are vegetarian so this is the only available option in Waikoloa and the reviews seemed to be pretty great. Honestly, this place is too overhyped. The food options are great but I didn’t find them tasting as great as they sounded. The food literally has no salt in it. And the place is outrageously expensive. Where does a glass of fresh lemonade cost you 6 bucks!!! We ordered for the«better than beef» vegan burger and the vegan paniolo potatoes(baked potatoes with vegan chili) I don’t know any place where chili has ungrounded coriander seeds added to it. That completely ruined the taste of the dish which anyways wasn’t too flavorful. You serve yourself here. Pay at the desk and get your silverware, water etc on your own. Despite that I did not understand what makes this place one of the most expensive in the area? One comes in here thinking that you may get more vegetarian options which are very limited at other eating joints. But you won’t be missing anything if you skip this place unless you won’t eat anywhere but at vegan places. Nothing great about it. Not the food, not the service. Just average!

We came here for a juice stop on the way to Kona. First impression it’s a breakfast spot in a really quiet yet modern shopping center. It’s probably the only place here with people in it. Came in and got right in line, they aren’t too busy and didn’t get a greeting which I think is crucial when you are serving customers. Waited a few minutes by the cashier then made a juice order. Juice was just over $ 9 which is pretty typical I guess for fresh juice? Served with no ice which is a plus… no one likes an iced down juice when you pay so much for it. But it’s delish! Overall a cute spot if you want a healthy meal, 5 stars for the juice and –1 star for service because I’m a smile snob.

Best acai bowl on the island. No joke. Seriously they make their own granola and the fruits that they top it with are so fresh, tropical, and delicious. I also had the hibiscus kombucha on tap which was equally yummy. They have such a friendly owner and staff and I can’t wait to try their lunch items the next time I’m on the island.

This is one of our favorite places to eat on the island. Nice vibes, HI Kombucha on tap, creative vegan dishes. Our family favorite is the Tofu Reuben. We ask for it to be veganized and it’s ONO!(DELISH). The sauerkraut blends so delicious with the tofu and whatever kine seasonings they use… and the rye and avocado pull it all together. Drool! I’ve also had their raw noodles and bean bowl which are great too however the Reuben is our favorite. Our 16 year old daughter also loves the Bodhi Tree and actually requested this place for her birthday dinner. The owners are super cool and do lots of fun events, talks and community outreach. We attended a local author cookbook signing and had the raw meal which was amazing. Great biz, great owners… we’ll be back soon. :)
