Great food, cold beer. Try them for breakfast! Cheapest best breakfast in town. Great quality and large portions.

The food is great. Hubby had scottys burger. No condiments on it. Lettuce tomato and pickle. He was impressed with the taste. He is going away very full. I had the buffalo burger. Wonderful taste. No condiment either. Great tasting onion rings. Completely full. Staff is friendly. Good size place. Is noisy if full. But worth it! A must visit place!

I think that we probably didn’t get an accurate representation of the place since we were there late on a Sunday night. Everybody there was nice and our server was very helpful. We got the onion rings and an undercut 12 ounce sirloin as well as a burger. everything except for the sirloin was pretty good though the beer that we had was a little bit skunky. to be honest, when we were looking to eat there were almost no options available to us here in Kalispell and I think it was the best of the situation. would we come back? Absolutely.

Wrong size steak. Cooked incorrectly. Gave our steaks to someone else and we waited 25 minutes longer. My friend ordered 8oz and I ordered 12oz and his steak was twice the size of mine. Waitress was nice but overwhelmed with at least 8 tables. I would NOT come back here.

Locals joint. You half expect Willie Nelson to walk thru the door. And seriously, I’ve never seen so many young chics with old guys. It was fascinating to watch. Really great entertainment here.
But that’s not why I give it 5 stars. First, it is for Dave, our server. Next to (and I mean next to, not below) Showthyme in Bigfork, Daves service, attention, and prowess are THE BEST we have received in this Valley. He will go far wherever he goes.
Second, the drinks are THE CHEAPEST in town. I’m never gonna drink out unless I’m here because everywhere else is just a rip off.
Third, for a bar, it was SO CLEAN. Old but well taken care of, with lots of light flooding in the windows to prevent that dank, dingy feeling that a lot of bars have and want.
The food was the least impressive. We were told they had the best hot wings. We didn’t think so. The best we’ve had are at The Boat Club in Whitefish. My husband’s Halibut Burger was Mickey Ds quality. Fries were ok, but Sykes have better. My Ceasar salad was surprisingly good, albeit flooded with croutons. I mean it’s a bar, ya know? We’ve also heard their burgers are TBIT. We’ll try those next time… food prices are reasonable and they give generous portions. All in all food was a 3, but we’ll still come back!

Very impressed with this place. Awesome service and the Elk burger and Onion Rings was very fresh. I added the bacon which I will do every time. They don’t mess around when it comes to their bacon. A must visit place if your passing through.

I absolutely love Scotty’s! They have some of the best burgers in town. Also for sports enthusiasts they have availability to watch the games while you eat.

I have eaten here a multitude of times as a kid and always loved their burgers. However the last time I ate here, I had not been there for 10 years or so. My wife ordered chicken wings and I ordered my beloved Maura burger. The burger was ok but not as I remembered it. My wife’s chicken wings came out and they were way undercooked and bloody inside. I informed the waitress about it and she told me that the cook prepared them as he always does. She told us we could take them home and finish cooking them in the oven. We didn’t fuss about it but we were not happy when they still charged us for the bloody wings on our bill. I gave two stars because in the past the food has always been decent. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a bar. The customer service is ok but not overly friendly. We will never return, because of the chicken wing incident!

I’ve lived in Columbia Falls for 4 years now, but I rarely go to Kalispell. I have heard from a lot of people about Scotty’s and had wanted to try it, but never had an opportunity until a friend took me there for a late lunch today. The food and the service were fantastic. I can’t wait to go back again. As much as I hate going to Kalispell, I think I have finally found a reason to go more often!

A great place for lunch. Play Mah Jongg there once a week and have never had a bad experience with the food or service. Large portions so if ordering a salad I recommend getting a half portion. Good soups, too. No mustard, thank you.

good bar food, bartenders as super nice and drinks are cheap. Good chill place to hang out.

Great burgers with homemade buns, decent bottled beer selection. This place is no frills, but that’s what you want when you’re craving a burger and a beer.

I ate hear with the family and needless to say the experience was pretty poor. To start off with we were seated next to the door that leads to the bathrooms. The door was propped open and all we could smell was nasty bathroom deodorizer. We asked if the door could be closed so we didn’t have to smell the bathroom. We were rudely told no that they had delivery’s coming in. We were never offered another table and sat there waiting well over 20 minutes before the «delivery» of a single keg of beer came through.
Now on to the food. The food was horribly greasy and very bland. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was greasy mushy fish stick on a bun. My son ordered a turkey breast sandwich, that was dry and had very little turkey on it. My daughter ordered the buffalo wings. They were fried to the point of being dehydrated. We left with the majority of our food on the plates.
I won’t be eating there again and I feel bad that it was a waste of a 50 dollar gift certificate given to us.

Good place to stop bye and have some beers. I did not get a chance to try their food but the service was good. The bartender was friendly. Although I wish they had more than just one IPA on tap.

Rated # 1 for burgers so I had to try it. Bun and condiments A+. Burger was was a B -.
Patty was big yet some bones/​gristle.
Fries were A+ and not included.
Water was really bad.
Beer selection favored domestics and a couple micro brews.
Waitress did a great job.
Quick service.

Bar food and good service, local bar but friendly. Good for a beer before dinner.

Old building, but fairly well maintained. Food was actually very good for bar grub. Pleasant surprise.

Definitely a local’s place. Nothing against it, they have great food and have great staff, but it really is a locals place. If you are a from out of town and want to experience the K-​town/​Whitefish area, then you can do better… and should. There are plenty of other places around town a bit more, well a lot more actually, upscale than here that you should try 1^st.
