Yes this is an older motel, but the rooms are remodeled and clean. I chose this motel because of price and it has semi truck parking. Upstairs rooms were $ 77, downstairs rooms were $ 87, I don’t know the difference in the rooms, I stayed upstairs in room 214. There was no bad smells and everything was clean. There is a 42″ flat screen tv mounted on the wall and it gets lots of channels. This motel offers breakfast until 10AM and has laundry facilities for $ 2.50 a load. My only«complaint» is the beds are low to the ground and soft. Some people like that, I don’t. I would for sure stay here again. BTW, the Mexican food restaurant next door is very good too. Forgot to add, there was a fridge and microwave in room.

People think I’m crazy for this, but I generally love EconoLodges because they always have refrigerators in room(sometimes microwaves) and free, decent, wifi. Admittedly, the sketchiness of EconoLodges can vary widely, and i’ve seen the worst of it. This, however, rates pretty high on the«wow, this is actually nice» scale. Yes, the rooms are still fairly dated and everything screams of the 70s. But it’s clean, the front desk folks are SUPER friendly, and I felt safe the entire time. Wi-fi signal was strong enough to connect VPN and do work(…yay…). And for $ 70 a night, no complaints. Breakfast was… carbs, and coffee left… things to be desired, but for the price point — no complaints. Keep on trucking, EL.

Got this room because of price. But I didn’t realize that $ 40 would mean that I’d have dried boogers on the wall by the sink and hairs from the previous customer on the sink. There was also a water bottle left over from the last person. Other than the linens being changed(which I inspected after seeing the hair and booger) it didn’t seem like the room was cleaned.

Clean room. Very friendly staff. I usually book 3 star hotels or higher but we needed two rooms and this was actually a pretty decent stay. I’d stay here again.

I chose the Econolodge, because I have a Choice Privileges account, and I was landing in Kalispell after dark. Basically, I knew this was going to be a camping vacation, but I hate getting into a strange place very late at night and having to find a place to set up camp. I like to check out things in the light of day. Back to the hotel, it was a roof over my head and a place to shower, but that was about it. Even though it was a non-smoking room, it reeked of smoke. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets were rough. Despite my exhaustion, I did not get a good nights sleep. I also never feel completely safe when my room door opens up to the outside. This place just gave me kind of a creepy vibe. This place did not live up to the kind of places I usually stay with Choice hotels. It needs an update. I am only glad a chose to camp for the rest of the week, rather than spend the money on a hotel.

Nice clean room, OK price, no problem with anything. Got the room late and was one of the last ones left

We got the last room they had over Labor Day Saturday so we paid a premium rate which I guess is to be expected under the circumstances. $ 150 bucks for a $ 75 quality room. Free breakfast. Average amenities, reasonably quiet, would have given one more star if the price had been under a hundred bucks. There is a good coffee place kitty-corner across the street.

Free breakfast, helpful staff, had rags available for our bikes. The rooms smell a little funky when you first walk in. Great price for single nights, though.

Not a bad place to stay. Got a good deal. Nice atmosphere, clean rooms, although a bit older.
