I’m so beyond happy with my dreamcatcher back piece! The artist was very gentle and friendly. And the price for the amount of detail that’s in work of art was a VERY good price! I look forward to returning for more ink! I’ve always heard ink can be addicting, and thanks to this shop I know why! They give you a beautiful peace of art who wouldn’t want to add to it!!!

The shop is very clean & I like the little pond they have in the front. Got tattooed by Clawz! Came in with my own picture & she was so awesome at resizing & tweaking it. The outline & shading process was cherreh. Shes very thorough & she always makes sure you’re happy with the process. She’s an awesome tattoo artist & I highly recommend this place! Drove from the other side of the island just to get tatted definitely gonna come back for more!

Michelle is an awesome artist! Great place to get ink hands down! I got my huge koi piece colored in by her… one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

Just got my second tattoo there today. Clawz did an awesome job! I love the result! Helped me to keep the memory of my Grandparents alive. Will definitely be going back for more.

This was my first experience with Hawaiian Tattoo Company. And I was extremely pleased with the tattoo of hibiscus and leaves from Clawz!!! I wanted to get a tattoo in Kailua and was glad to make the right choice. The shop was clean and has a koi pond :)

Michelle did a fantastic job. She took some artwork I found online, and modified it to make it more personal and unique. She added color which made my tattoo look even more amazing. She is a true artist and professional. She checked on me to see if I needed a break. She made my experience comfortable and memorable. I would definitely fly back to Hawaii to get more work done. I highly recommend Michelle and the Hawaii Tattoo Company.

I got my very first tattoo here/​from Michelle. I remember the experience just like it was yesterday. First, I came in with a picture of Jesus on the cross (From the Passion of the Christ) that I wanted and asked if they could do it for me. The consultation and appointment process went by smooth. The day I got my tat which was on my birthday, I was ready. She had the flash sketched out and everything and adjusted it to where I wanted it to be. Feeling the ink for the first time felt good. Of course the needle hurt like heck but it was good. The experience was a great one. She gave me a decent price for the tat which took almost about 3 hours. Although there was a lot of details into the piece, she did an awesome job. I went down to there S. King St. location by University Ave. Too bad they are not there anymore. Now they are located in Kaneohe. They also used to be on Kapahulu but that’s a different shop now.

MICHELLE IS THE BEST! My gang of girlfriends and I made an appt with her to do a group tat and she abided even though she didn’t really think that we were going to follow through (and didn’t even require a deposit because only one of us could go in to make the appt and didn’t have enough money on her to put down deposits for everyone).
Lucky for us we did get our acts together and show up because we walked away really satisfied. Our group is a bit much for anyone to handle at once, which Michelle found out, but she was sSUPER PATIENT, drew and redrew our concept, didn’t get mad when we decided to go with a completely different idea, placed and replaced our stencils, dealt with our indecisiveness about placement on the body, our nervousness (for the first-​timers in the group) and our general obnoxious volume level. Also, having had three other tattoos myself, I can say, she tattooed REALLY light and fast (seriously minimal on the pain)!
Basically, we all came out with a sick tattoo that we were all really really happy with, charged at $ 60/​person (the shop minimum), with future touch-​ups, and some great (ridiculous) pictures with our tattoo artist/​new friend, Michelle. She puts people at ease, is super chill, and really genuinely wants people to have a good tattoo experience and a piece that they’re happy with for a really reasonable price. HOLLER!
