I don’t know much about babies or baby things, but this store quickly taught me that some baby things can be very cool. Walking into Baby Showers Hawaii feels like walking into a candy colored explosion. The sensory overload that shoppers will experience is felt instantly as there are colorful items all around. The most interesting items included the local made blankets and onesies with unique style. There were island style products galore as well as my personal favorite, Star Wars products. Every single item was very unique and high quality, which was reflected in their prices. Prices aside, I would be pumped if I were a baby receiving a lot of the products from this small, local shop. The staff were very nice as they greeted me and helped me pick something out for a friend. I didn’t want something that was gender specific as I am not a fan of pink for girls and blue for boys gender lines. Why can’t kids like whatever colors they want to like? The staff helped me find something that fit my criteria and told me the story of their products and where most of them are made and by whom. I was very impressed by all of the information I learned while shopping here. Overall, this store has a lot of great baby items and bigger kid toys. I would recommend shopping here for baby showers or young birthday parties. The products are local and unique and the staff make the purchasing experience very enjoyable.

NOTONLYFORBABIES! GREATTODDLER and BIGKIDGIFTIDEASTOO! They have a little bit of everything. Melissa and Doug wooden toys, cute Hawaiian baby outfits, puzzles, games, books, and more! I call this a small UNIQUEBOUTIQUE! Many years ago I received a baby bath towel as a gift and loved it so much I drove all the way here just to buy another one. While I was getting the towel, I saw a vinyl apron that was really cute so I bought it. My son used the apron for a few years, then my daughter used the apron for a few years and we finally dumped it last month because it was full of paint and filthy. I thought it would be easy to find another vinyl apron like that but I couldn’t find anything except for the Crayola one they sell at Long’s for kids 24mo+ and it’s too small for my daughter. I called Baby Showers and left a message saying I was looking for a painting apron like the one I bought 5+ years ago. They called me back saying they had a Melissa and Doug painting apron for $ 10.95. Perfect!(and by the way, great custumer service!) So off we go to find this painting apron.
While I was at the store to buy the painting apron today, we found gardening tools for kids! If you know my son, he’s crazy into gardening and our rakes are missing half their teeth so we really needed a new rake! These are so cute! Even though this place is small, and a tad bit expensive, I always find something cute and then some… and I will eventually come back when I need a replacement. Would I drive here out of my way just to buy something? I’ve done it 2 or 3 times now.

I absolutely LOVE this store! We recently moved to Kailua and I have a 2 year old boy. Although the beach is tons of fun, some days he just wants to take a bike ride into town and walk around. Luckily I stumbled into this store our first week here. It’s a family run business and the whole family is as friendly as can be! They have lots of toys and even some mommy gear. They also make some really sweet Hawaiian clothes and burp rags and blankets and stuff at a very reasonable price! My son loves to go in there and play with the car/train set at the front of the store or push around the mini grocery cart. I can tell you that I’ve been here several times a week with him and while he plays, I browse… and I’m never bored. There are so many CUTE things there! And I love the fact that they are totally cool with my son just coming in to visit and play. I do occasionally buy stuff from them since I can’t help myself with their adorable things, but they’ve never made me feel silly for bringing him in over and over again. They are just the nicest people and my go-to store when I need a gift for a baby or young child — I’ve seen toys for kids as old as 6 or 7. Stop in for a visit… you won’t be disappointed!

Went here looking for baby clothes… had a large selection of mi cielo baby clothing and learning/wood block like toys. $ 30 is a bit much to spend on one baby tee in my opinion. Had some cute things but nothing that really that would fit what i had in my mind for the babies i’m buying for. Would definitely come here again, though. Looks like they’ll be the only baby place in kailua soon…

I have been to this store several times and love it! It is family run, the woman out front is always very friendly and her mom is always busy sewing in the back. They have always been really helpful with suggestions and finding the perfect gift for a baby. Don’t be misled by the name, they have clothes and toys for children up to at least 7 years old! I went in last night to pick up a few things for a friend and it was just after 5 p.m. so she had already locked the door. But she opened it for me and was very kind in letting me shop around for a gift. Then she even sent me home with tissue paper, ribbon and wrapping paper that was perfect for the gifts! I highly recommend this store.

Excellent customer service, and good selection for a small boutique. I love that they have so many toys out for your kids to try, and if you’re not too neat about it, no worries. Everyone’s super friendly and helpful. Also THEBEST prices on Plan Toys on island!

This is a terrific little family owned and operated store that offers unique, high-quality baby gift items. I bought a Hawaiian print car seat cover when my son was born and the owner’s mother sewed the matching seat belt covers for me in a couple of days. They also have those really cute baby moccasins that I can’t remember the name of right now. They have a great selection of modern, eco-friendly wooden toys. Lots of Thomas the Train stuff too.

I went to see my girlfriend today in Kailua and spotted this baby store. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a first time mom, but I get really excited when I see baby stores full of cute clothes and knick knacks for kids. I went inside and could not help myself. My daughter fell in love with this cute little teething flower and mommy found a cute nursing apron. The cool thing about this place is that they make their own nursing aprons, flannel blankets, and burp rags. They have a book of swatches and you can choose what kind of pattern you want. I chose this cute Hawaiian print thats blue and white. I was surprised that the prices were reasonable. They sell cute bathing suits for girls that range from newborn to toddler. And a whole bunch of adorable little toys for babies. Definitely need to bring Grandma here!

What a cute little store specializing in baby/kids stuff. Perfectly named for what it offers, there are adorable clothing items and playthings(stuffed toys etc) for that newcomer in your life(or that of a friend). Small shop, but adequately stocked with stuff.
