This is a GREAT restaurant. Its every bit as good as the Mexican food we had when we lived in the California central valley.
The el pastor is great. I had the best chicken tostado i have ever had.
The place is clean and the staff are friendly and interesting.
When i read some if the negative reviews about this place i concluded they were either writing about another restaurant by mistake, or purposefully trying to help competitors.
Try this one yourself if you want some great, authentic Mexican food.

This place is great. I hope people don’t read these terribly unfair bad reviews for this place and try it for themselves.
Al pastor is excellent and I’m coming back tomorrow to try one of their carnitas burritos.

Ucch… yucch…disgusting.
First off, the place looked like it hasn’t been cleaned since it opened. That goes for the «kitchen» area especially.
My chick burrito was made with parts of said «chicken» that I couldn’t identify. And tasted awful.
What atmosphere?
Wouldn’t go back if they offered me free food 4ever.
The Los Habaneros in Kona is excellent. Not fast food, carefully prepared with very nice people serving, especially at the bar during happy hour.
If you wish fast Mex food, head to Patricio s across from the PO in Kona.

Nice small take-​out place with a few tables. Unfortunately my wife got food poisoning from the chicken enchiladas. We won’t be going back.
