Great coffee and reasonable prices. Amazing friendly advice. My friend said her ice cream was amazing; I can’t wait to come back and try it when I’m not dieting! Such a cute local place.

Affrogatto is great. We got it with coconut ice cream. The owner is super nice too. She also offers to hold your keys while you go swimming

I’m always searching for great coffee around the Big Island, and I’ve gotta say, this place would be on my top places to go to. It’s a small shop below a restaurant, set in the corner between Palani Rd & Ali’i drive. You can’t really miss it because of the black bold Kona Coffee sign. You walk inside, and they’ve got a great selection of coffee bags(Peaberry being one of the top selected for the Kona Coffee Contest). They serve all kinds of goodness from coffee drinks, smoothies, fraps, and ice cream. Also, this place is probably one of the few café’s that actually serve affogato!!! Mmm! As for my drink of the day, I ordered an Irish Cream Latte and it was PERFECT! It wasn’t overly sweet, but just the right amount of flavor and coffee goodness. Definitely a great start to my day.

Nice guys and great coffee! Cozy little place, came here almost every day during our stay! Though«funny» thing happened one day when we were having our coffees outside and one girl walked into the coffeeshop and as she left she was saying negative things about us without any reason(she was a bit drunk). And the next day she was working there!!! :) I wouldnt make comments about customers at your workplace. even though you are off.

My wife and I stopped in here after a quick meal on the way back from the beach. We were feeling like something sweet and decided that ice cream would be a good choice. There are lots of shave ice places in Kona, but this place offers crafted well made ice cream with ingredients like macadamia nuts, coffee, and things you would expect in Hawaii. The ice cream was very rich full flavored and very satisfying. I had the macadamia nut scoop with a scoop of the vanilla being. I found out the vanilla bean is grown on the Hilo side of the island, and is the only place in the United States where vanilla bean is grown. It was very tasty but nothing unusual for vanilla. So in summary, I recommend stopping in here for some ice cream after dinner and then walk across the street and sit on the seawall and watch the waves roll in while you enjoy your ice cream.

This is a cute little place right near the pier. The cold coffee drinks and frappes were really very good but slightly expensive. With 4 people working behind the counter, and one in front, I would expect service to be much faster — even on island time. Total time from order(1 iced and 2 frappes) until ready was over 11 minutes(when I stopped keeping track) with only 2 small orders ahead of us. The drinkes were good enough to warrant another visit. However, if it takes as long as the first time it will definitely be the last I will update once I’ve returned.

Five stars for service and ice cream. Tasted a few favors and decided on the Kona Coffee ice cream, got two scoops. Went to pay my tab and wah wah they don’t take American Express and that’s all I had on me. I was staying at the Courtyard across the street so I Offered to leave the ice cream there, go get cash and come back. Dave insisted that I take the ice cream with me and return at my convenience. I enjoyed my I remember in my room then promptly returned with my payment. Cute spot and convenient location.

Wonderful coffee shop in Kona. We were here this time last year and tried the freshly-squeezed Tahitian Limeade and have been reminiscing about it ever since. Perfectly tart and sweet and refreshing on a warm summer day. Stopped in here today on our first day back in Kona, and were initially disappointed when the owner told us he was temporarily out of the limeade because they hadn’t been freshly juicer. However, he somehow scared some up in the fridge and all was well! We will definitely be back for more limeade and for the delicious ice cream and coffee as well.

Id give this place 20 stars if I could! I’m local, but from OAHU and this place literally beats any coffee place on Oahu! We came to big island for a mini vacay/honeymoon and I ordered the hot White Mocha and my husband ordered the Cookies & cream Affogato for the first time, the first night we tried there, 2nd night I had the Affogato AND my hot white mocha. My husband had the cold version of the white mocha, SODAMNGOOD! Freshly made, it doesn’t give you that black coffee bitterness after taste. It makes me want to stop buying any coffee on Oahu or anywhere else, buy my own espresso machine and make my own Affogato! STEVE was working both times we went there so far this weekend and he’s SUPERRRRR nice, very helpful and knows pretty much anything and everything about Big Island(more than me lol) and coffee of course(; OH and they have this coffee mug that’s heat activated and reveals a lava flow when you pour in your FAVORITE hot beverage. I’ve never seen anything like that so my husband bought it for me, so cool! My new fav coffee cup! If you ever go to big island, definitely stop there! You won’t regret it!

They are located directly across the street from The Courtyard King Kamehameh’a(Marriott) hotel. It was a quick trot across the street and after all the amazing coffee tastings I did in Kona, I was feeling for something sweet and their mocha’s and also their affogatto’s satisfied my sweet tooth cravings. Hot espresso poured over some Macadamia Nut ice Cream. It was good. I got their card and they hole punched it every time I came in. We stopped for ice cream for the kids one day and I had my mocha so my drink was free. We also had some Mango Bread here and it was so delish!

Iced White Mocha latte was alright, not amazing. But the ice cream was fantastic! We got the mud pie(With kona coffee and chocolate) ice cream and will definitely come back for it next time we’re in town! It was a pricey though. $ 10 just for 2 scoops of ice cream and 1 iced coffee.

Sweet little coffee café in the heart of several diverse local shops and restaurants. Ice cream, 100% Kona coffee, Mac nuts and milk substitutes. Frappé was delish! Barista was super friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely be going back again… Tomorrow:)

It’s warm today and this was the perfect stop while walking thru Kailua. They have lots of ice cream and shakes and a nice sitting area outside in the shade.

Steve is a great guy, he is warm and welcoming to everybody. We found this place on our first morning in Kona he is the earliest coffee shop that opens and everything in this place is great. Thanks Steve!

Good tasting lattes, VERY pricey. $ 6.00 for a 12 oz mocha. Sorry, that’s over the top for coffee flavored steamed milk. I was even«corrected» on how to order my drink I’ve ordered all over the U.S. for twenty-five years. I won’t be back

Yet again had to come back and visit Kona farm direct, Leslie and her wonderful barista’s got it down. They are so friendly and treat everybody like Ohana. My girlfriend got the chocolate ice cream and loved it. Not to chocolatey, smooth with a right balance. I decided to go with the iced green tea and by far the best I have had. If you are in Kona this is the must place visit for coffee. Mahalo and aloha!!! \mn/

Super friendly delicious coffee. More specifically I ordered the medium roast(normally I’m a dark roast kinda guy but switched it up today) and I’m glad I did. The medium roast is robust and smooth, hint of cocoa and little acidity. I’m a fan!

This place was wonderful. The service was top notch & the coffee, amazing. We asked for the Pea Berry brew & they made it for us using the Kalita filter method. It was perfect. The place also sells lots of wonderful & award winning coffees to take home. They also sell volcanic salt & spices. There’s lots of outside seating area. Really sad I don’t live by here because I would be a regular costumer for sure. Kona is lucky to have this coffee shop here.
