Excellent! Adrienne was able to babysit for us in a few hours notice. Both our daughters ages two and eight had a blast with her! She is professional and like other reviewers said she came completely prepared with a suitcase of toys and games! Highly recommend.

Adrienne is like Mary Poppins, she swoops in with age appropriate toys and enthralls! My 8 year old loved her! He has ADHD and I forgot one of his meds, but Adrienne just handled it with ease. She did homework with him and read with him, which was quite nice. I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is excellent with children.

She was our night time sitter for couple of nights when we were at Kona and I highly recommend her. She is very nice to work with, very accomodating, prompt. She took very good care of our kids when we stepped out and sent us updates on our phones.
She also comes with a bag of toys/​books but since my kids were asleep they didn’t use them.

It’s hard to fly into a new environment and leave the kids with someone new. Like any parents, we were nervous, but the moment we met and spoke to Adrienne, all apprehension melted away and we were able to go enjoy some adult time, knowing that the kids were having a great time.
For two different visits to Kona, we had Adrienne watch our kids for several evenings while we went out to dinners. The first time, we only had a 3-​yr-​old. We were there for three weeks and Adrienne watched our daughter 4 – 5 times.
During the most recent trip, our family was bigger — we had a 4-​yr-​old and a 10-​month old. I can’t stress enough how wonderful it was to be able to walk out of the rental house and know that we could trust the sitter. She is nurturing, kind, patient, and she brings lots of age-​appropriate toys and books to engage the children. Our daughter — the older one — was so excited every time we left and she complained on the days when Ms. Adrienne was not scheduled to watch her.
We felt confident in the safety of our kids, but we also knew they would have fun, learn during the visit through books and toys, and that their needs would be met by someone who has strong motherly instincts. We plan to call Adrienne every time we return and are sad that we haven’t been able to find someone like her on the mainland!

While on vaction in Kona, we called that morning for a sitter that evening to watch 3 children: two 5 year olds and a 3 year old. Their rates were affordable (almost everyone on the island is $ 18/​hr + $ 2/​hr per extra child + $ 10 transportation fee…4 or 5 hour minimum) and the sitters are criminal checked, first aid trained, etc.
Adrienne brought a roller bag full of toys and games! She tailored the toys to the age and gender of the children and each child got a bag. They spread them out on hotel beds and they immediately started playing!
She had an emergency form to fill out with emergency contact info, asked questions about bedtime routine and then went right back to playing. Adrienne was fully engaged with the kids and we were able to head out without any tantrums!
Adrienne even texted us half way thru the evening to let us know the status of the kids’ bedtime and how they did up to that point. The kids were sound asleep when we got back to the hotel!
The next morning, our kids asked when Adrienne was coming back. That’s the ultimate sign of a great sitter, right?
I’d definitely recommend Adrienne if you are looking for a day or night out with no worries about your childrens’ fun or safety.
