After making the decision to move from the mainland; Colorado to be exact. We 100% lucked out finding Kevin. It was a shot in the dark and a needle in the haystack as to who you pick to help you and represent you in the purchase of your new home, when coming from so far away.
With purchasing in Hawaii so much different that purchasing in Colorado, it was a pleasure to work with such a patient and knowledgeable Agent; while learning, picking a property, signing paperwork, through the escrow process, to the closing and handing us the keys, Kevin made every step of the process easy and helped us understand what was going on throughout the entire process.
Our criteria from our home was so specific and the list was a mile long. Kevin’s knowledge of the Island from growing up here, helped immensely with our search. The home he found us was like we had wished on a star (Oh, and boy are the stars amazing at night from our Lanai). Everything we dreamed of and everything on our checklist.
We know that our transaction was one of the hardest to do, since we were one of the first homeowners to do a VA loan, in the neighborhood we purchased in. But leave it to Kevin to ‘make it happen’.

Kevin Walmsley was great to work with from start to finish. He understood what are wants and needs were and showed us properties that matched our requirements. We found a house that had everything we were looking for in the geographic area we wanted. The house was a short sale and we were the successful bidder. Kevin is the real estate agent everyone hopes to find when they want to market their property! We found Kevin to go above and beyond what is expected of a real estate agent. He was dedicated to pursuing everything he possibly could to market our home. We were located over 30 miles from town which made it much more difficult to find a buyer. When another agent was going to be showing it, Kevin would personally take the time to drive down to the house to open the curtains, windows and make sure everything was in order.
