Great tasting coffee found in many of the local dining establishments. Their warehouse /office is in the back of an industrial park near the airport, so if you call ahead they’ll have your order bagged and ready to go when you pickup. I bought two pounds of the Mokka before heading out of town and it is fantastic coffee, some of the best I’ve had with a meal lately. Nice folks… Highly recommend their products.

We went to a restaurant on Maui and the coffee after dinner was the best coffee my girlfriend or I had ever had. We asked what it was, and of course they said it was Maui Oma. We went to the warehouse(and there is no other way to describe it) on the way to the airport and bought a few bags — they don’t sell to stores and only ship direct or to local places. Flash forward a year and a half and we have had literally nothing else at home. We have tried a few of their blends, and both their Hawaii blends and central American blends are amazing. We used to get our coffee from places like Blue Bottle, but this blows them all out of the water. I couldn’t be happier to have discovered them.

Absolutely loved this place. My wife and I love coffee and when we discovered Maui Oma on Unilocal we decided to stop in during our vacation in Maui. They have a vast selection of local and international coffee that they roast on site. You can purchase coffee in ½ pound or 1 pound bags which would allow you to try a couple. We wanted to try something local. And while prices of some seemed a little high compared to the mainland, I was surprised to see that it wasn’t any more expensive than the mass produced stuff you find in local supermarkets. Definitely worth a visit. Great people, great coffee.

It saddens me to be the one to mess up the reviews for this place but I have to. The coffee beans here are okay at best. They are better Starbucks, local market, and other non-specialized roasters but I feel that there should be a better process in eliminating bad beans. I got two pounds of Charley’s Blend and two pounds of the Red Catuai. I haven’t tried Charley’s Blend yet but almost done with a pound of the Red Catuai. It was very disappointing once I poured the beans to measure for my pour over. Upon measurement, I’m horrified to see there are hollow beans, chipped beans, large beans, small beans, light, medium, dark and tiger beans. The roasting becomes very uneven if the process in sorting and roasting is not very meticulate. I usually brew V60 and Kalita Wave side by side or one day after another to see what suits the beans better. Unfortunately for these beans, neither but if I had to choose one, it would be Kalita Wave. The initial taste of the coffee will give your front tongue receptors that sweet fruity essence but with all the variations in bean sizes and roasts, leaves a terrible taste in your mouth. I was able to achieve a somewhat cleaner taste by pouring out the beans and self-sorting. From a 28gram pour, I end up having to toss about 2−5grams and readd more. For something quick at home with an automatic pourover or Keurig, I’d say this is fine. For a coffee butthole(who likes to do manual measurements for their pourovers) such as myself, go elsewhere. I’ll update my review later when I open Charley’s Blend.

This is an excellent company to support! Their coffee is incredible: fresh, local, and consciously sourced. The owner’s take great care to participate in sustainable community development, and treat their employees very well. I highly reccommend and love this company.

Amazing Coffee! Had some for the first time at Monkeypod restaurant. Called the next day to ask what they served and where to get it. Everyone at the table was raving about it. Very smooth. Picked up 6 lbs of the Red Catuai on the way to the airport. I have a feeling I will not be satisfied with anything else :)

These guys are awesome! I highly recommend getting coffee here. It’s very fresh and at a reasonable price. Plus they are super friendly and will help you pick the perfect blend. This company provides blends for many restaurants and resorts on the island. So if you went to Leoda’s Pie and loved the coffee, you can get that blend here. Yes the do have Kona and Maui coffee. But they also have beans from all over the world. I suggest going in with an open mind, tell them what you like, how you’re going to brew it then let them make some suggestions. It is a little hard to find. Keep going on Alamaha Rd, past Ace Hardware then on the left you’ll see their logo on the sign. Turn there and drive toward the back of the lot. Then hang a right turn and you’ll see them tucked in the back left corner. You’ll see their van parked there too. Remember this isn’t a café so you can’t actually get any drinks there. But you can get some terrific coffee to take home with you. I go into Kahaluli once a week and just buy enough for the week so it’s super fresh. I’m hooked.

Went looking for Maui coffee to buy, the internet came to the rescue with Maui Oma. We took home 5 lbs on our way to the airport(he kindly left it outside his warehouse for us to pick up after hours) and just ordered another 5lbs online because we were on our last beans. They basically roast for every delicious restaurant in town — ie: Leoda’s Pies. And it’s really nice, smooth coffee, none of the hipster branding fuss. And Randy is excellent. He has a point of view, recommends, talks you through beans and gets really specific. We usually get a 100% Maui, and a 10% blend. We will be reordering for many years to come.

Great manager! Excellent coffee. We bought 12 pounds and will be purchasing more soon! Gets us through the depressing year before we visit again!

I’ll keep this simple. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking. Thanks Randy!
We had a wonderful experience here. My wife is a coffee roasting hobbyist and the guy on duty was really nice and shared a number of his techniques with her and gave us a tour of the facilities and help us pick from the long list of available options. They do the blends for most of the good restaurants on Maui but also have many of their own blends and roasts that they will sell you at wholesale prices. We just got back to the mainland and the 100% Kona No 1 that we have been drinking is fantastic. We already regret we didn’t get more. Can’t wait to make it through the other types we purchased but that one made it worth the trip. Next time we will need a bigger suitcase. Understand that this is a roaster in the middle of an industrial park by the airport and nobody’s idea of a café although he did seem to have some coffee brewing at the time.

I first tried Oma while dining at Star Noodle, and knew that after one sip I had to take some home with me. Funny enough, when I arrived at the warehouse I found out that the Star Noodle blend was only 10% Maui and mostly Columbian, haha. Either way, really good strong, solid coffee!

Wholesale prices… The day we left Maui we stopped by to purchase some coffee. The freshest coffee you will ever buy. Our coffee we purchased was roasted like 2 days ago. We purchased Jaws Break Blend(Not for wimps), Hawaiian Nights and Maui Oma blend. If you like coffee stop here and pick up your bags of coffee…

This was my last stop on my way to the airport, and it was definitely worth it. Same story as previous reviewer, having coffee at Hana Hou and asked where it was from. Tracked down the warehouse and ended up walking away with 7lbs of coffee to take home with me. Went with 5lbs of the Mexican french roast which is what I had, plus a pound each of the 2 that they recommended, Roy’s Blend(what they serve at that restaurant) and the Maui Red. Definitely worth the stop to check out a local roaster.

While enjoying brunch at La Provence in Kula we had the most delicious cup of coffee, and the waitress let us know that it was made for their restaurant by Maui Oma Coffee Roasting company. I tried finding their coffee in the grocery store with no success, so I looked online and found their website. They do not sell their coffee in stores, but you can purchase their Coffee online and have it shipped to the mainland, or if you happen to be on Maui you can stop by their shop. Maui Oma is located in an industrial area just off Dairy Rd. in Kahului, if you are fortunate enough to be on Maui and go to their store(more of a warehouse really) they will sell the coffee to you at Wholesale prices with just an additional charge of $ 0.80 for the packaging supplies. Randy was great taking big bags of coffee beans and measuring them then filling up our bags, he let us know that they will also grind your beans for you as well if you like. Buying wholesale was such a great deal I ended up buying one pound of the Jaws Break blend, one pound of French Roast(this is what they serve at La Provence), and two pounds of the Hawaiian Nights. The Jaws Break that we purchased had been roasted a mere two days ago, you will not find coffee this fresh back home.
