BEWARE! BEWARE!!! So my son takes his iPhone here a week ago to have the broken screen replaced. After taking it apart, the guy says he has the wrong screen. After putting it back together, he says he’ll order it and call him when it comes in and he did yesterday. They talked again today, Monday, to get it done, on my sons phone. So far everything is just great, as it should be. This is where it gets crazy. The guy takes it apart, works on it for at least two hours, tries six screens, blames the phone for shorting out the screens, puts it back together and it doesn’t work at all anymore, period. My son is obviously upset. The guy offers him $ 200 and says «that’s all I have in the drawer». With the phone worth over $ 500, he says no, I want $ 500, the replacement cost. After back and forth, my son calls the police to get an incident or police report of all this. The police show up, listen, and then says, sorry, can’t do anything, can’t write anything down about either side, can’t do nothing, period. Really??? Oh, by the way, the guy told the police that the phone wasn’t functional when my son gave it to him. Wow! It was a week ago when he took it apart and put it back together. It was yesterday when he called my son on that phone and also this morning when making the appointment to do the repair. So if you want someone to work on your expensive phone and don’t care if it’s gonna be working when you get it back, this is your place. They are not qualified to do the work and practice poor business ethics. Not what we need here on Maui. Shame on them. Tourists and locals alike, look for another place for your cell phone repair.
