FIVESTARSFORTHEFOOD. GREATCORN!!! Definitely a must-try of you’re in the area! My fave was the Baja style corn. So delicious! Now, the reason why this isn’t a five-star rating for me… The guy manning the stand(maybe late 30’s, early 40’s?) was cool when we were there, but later a group of high school girls were over there and he was shamelessly flirting with them and inviting them to parties and asking to take their pictures and telling them he wanted to feature them in videos and whatnot. Kind of disgusting and the reason why this isn’t a 5-star rating!

Their corn was a nice addition to our shrimp plates from Giovanni’s across the way. The Baja style(line, mayo, Parmesan) was by far the best. Yum! My only complaints, the size and price. Such a small corn for $ 4!

The corn is pretty good, but $ 4 each is kinda pricy. The staffs are super friendly and they are efficient. They even have a geico as store pet! How cool is that!

Whenever I’m on this part of the island I usually stop here. Altough I wouldn’t call it BBQ corn, I love the way this corn is seasoned. It’s usually where I’m hungry on a sunday drive. Always service with a smile. And there is no shortage of good people watching at this spot as well.

We purposely plan to stop at the Giovanni’s shrimp Kahuku location so that we can grab also Uncle Woody’s BBQ corn. A fan of Café Habana’s grilled corn in NYC? You must try the Baja corn(#2) here at Uncle Woody’s. It’s better. I know… big words. It’s on our must eat list when we visit Oahu.

Ok so this BBQ Corn was pretty dang good. I had the #1 Island Style which was made with butter, mayo, garlic salt and pepper. The corn is grilled naked them buttered and seasoned as soon as it comes off. If I was judging on flavor alone, I’d rate this dish a 4⁄5 ‘s but as a whole I’d rate it a 3⁄5 ‘s. I rated it a 3 only because they did a poor job at removing the husk and fibers and that definitely affected the overall palatable experience. #HiLiFE #instahi #wearehawaii #LuckyWeLiveHI #venturehawaii #goprohawaii #foodtruck #foodporn #foodie #foodstagram #foodgasm #food #dessertporn #yummy #homemade #yum #delicious #yelp #yelphawaii

$ 4 for an ear of grilled corn is pricey, but it’s the price you pay for convenience. Is the Baja style corn delicious? Oh, yes… yes, it is. The gals who work the stand are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. If you’re going to be a repeat offender, be sure to ask for their stamp card.

Don’t trust the«Hours» on here. I’ve adjusted my schedule to get here and they are closed. Very frustrating.

You can’t beat fresh corn in paradise! This place is tiny but their food pack huge flavor. They have several seasoning options available. The owners are friendly and patient. My wife and I enjoyed their corn and their soda that was reasonably priced. The line did get long after a while since tour buses had just arrived. Remember to tip! Parking is an issue in the North Shore, just make sure to not block anyone in or you might get towed.

Fresh grilled corn, 3 flavors: Baja(lime, seasoning, mayo, parmesan, butter), Island(butter, garlic salt, sea salt, black pepper) or Shoyu(soy sauce, butter), SODELICIOUS. The sweet corn is grilled to order, the flavors are all there, and the workers are super friendly. $ 4, cash only. They have a simple concept and they naaailled it. Also, you can stick your face in a wooden cutout of a corn and take a picture with it.

Every single time I come to Kahuku side to get corn, I always wanted to try the infamous popular corn stand here at Uncle Woody’s but they are always CLOSED whenever I get there even after noon. I guess they recently changed their hours to open at noon but I swear those times I’ve gone it was not always opened. I even called one time and the owner picked up and said the son who was suppose to open the shack was down in diamond head so it was going to be a while. I’m always left so disappointed when I leave Kahuku. So finally my boyfriend had gotten lucky on a day that he and his friends went to Kahuku to get shrimp and to his surprise as well got some corn to take home. They all didn’t get to eat it there as they were still full from eating shrimp so they brought one for me as well as I tried it at home. I had to reheat it since it was left in the fridge that’s why it didn’t seem appealing to eat but It was sooooooo goooood when I finally tried it. I had the baha seasoning and it was amazingly tasty and I absolutely love corn. Probably would have been better if I tried it fresh but I hope the next time I got there again, it’s open! I would probably just get the seasoning since you can get cheaper corn down this side especially how much they charge for a small piece of corn, it’s really the seasoning that makes the corn good!

Unbelievable flavor. Corn is grilled upon ordering, so it maintains its freshness. I chose to try the Baja #2. I was by no means disappointed. I tried to tell myself that I could make this at home. This is definitely not the case. This recipe was passed down. I am not sure what the secret ingredient is but it sure is amazing! Cash only Parking lot where Giovanni’s shrimp is across from the high school. Other trucks to get fruit, coffe, frozen yogurt

Hmmm… this time around it wasn’t so good. I been here before and the corn used to be extra large, extra plump and juicy. My favorite is the Baja seasoning. The employees said the corn varies day to day and by season depending who they get their produce from. This time I so happened to catch them when all the corn was teeny tiny. Also, prices went up…

We loooooooove this place. Best place on the island to get yummy delicious corn on the cob. Our absolute favorite is Baja style, even our 5 year old loves it. Yes you sometimes have to wait, but seriously who cares when you are getting good food it is so worth the wait. We love the seasoning so much we get a little packet($ 7) to have it at home. They also are recently giving out a check in card, where every time you go they stamp it until you get a free corn! Yum and yum, you cannot visit Giovanni’s without stopping here as well!

Unilocal365CHALLENGE2014−(217÷365) «Woody Crack Corn, But I don’t Care!» Saw this stand, and when in Kahuku, aside from Romy’s, Giovanni’s and Watermelon, Kahuku Sweet Corn is the thing to seek out. Sorry Uncle Woody, but when you advertise«BBQ Corn» and flash each order for just a few seconds on a GAS grill, You’re doing your customers and your product a slight injustice. Our faces dropped when we saw this. It only made me wonder if that blowtorch that he also had to the side was to quickly«char» the outside???(I wouldn’t doubt it) Maybe because we got the last corn of the day, he wanted to close up shop and call it a day? After a few squirts of butter with his fancy squirt bottle, he slathered on some mayo and doused the pale yellow ear of corn with his Baja Spice and Parmesan Cheese. Sorry, but anything you throw on the barbie should not only have char marks, but also should be burn-your-tongue– HOT! This was far from it, and the sweetness was overpowered by the overkill of toppings. Do yourself a favor and seek out the BBQ Corn stand right before Kahuku Land Farms Stand… Much tastier than this tourist trap. ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/\uuu/2

We were on our way to waimea and I decided that I wanted to stop for some corn. My boyfriend kept saying that he didn’t want any but if I really wanted to try, we could make a quick stop. I ordered the baja seasoning and it was the best corn I’ve ever had! The seasonings are a bit salty but it definitely packs a punch. The real winner is the corn itself. The corn is juicy and sooooo sweet, which makes the seasonings even better. After a bite, my boyfriend ended up eating half my corn and we instantly regretted not getting our own. However, at $ 4 a piece, it is a bit pricey. But I would suggest trying it at least once especially since it’s not something you would get every day. There is ample parking in the area.

I LOVE Corn. They husk fresh corn before your very eyes. They grill it to perfection. They give you tow flavor items: Classic and Cajun. All for $ 3!!! On a stick! It was the perfect accompaniment with the Shrimp Scampi from Giovanni’s Food Truck!
