Definitely the best coconuts in Hawaii! The gentleman running the roadside pitstop will carve out the coconut meat for you after you finish the water. It’s $ 5 per coconut, and well worth every penny.

Ok. So every time I try to buy a nice fresh coconut it’s always warm and not as cold as I’d like. These guys are such a small local business. They pick the coconut and they store it in their cooler full of ice(impressive as it’s mad hot out there). You pay I think $ 3.00 or $ 5.00 for it. They crack it open for you, and take the shell off. It’s also pretty decently sized too. Man, I will never forget how cold the coconut was, and how refreshing. Even I’m impressed, because I love me some fresh coconut, but some times it’s never as cold as you wish it would be. THISISCOLDFORSURE. It’s a great thing to kind of savour and drink while you walk around. They also give you a spoon to scoop out the meat, but they also are nice enough to tell you that you can come back and they’ll scrape it off after you’ve drunken the juice. They’re so nice and really try to carry a conversation with their customers.

As I go traveling I like to try different foods and talk to locals. I found Ice Cold Coconuts across the way from all the other food venues and wanted to try what they had. First they pull the Coconut from an Ice chest. Thus Ice cold Coconuts. Crack it open so you can drink the milk. Then they offer to take the Shell off and bag it for you. These guys explained that the Coconut has so much nutrients while you’re sitting down watching these guys do there stuff. I would recommend anyone who is traveling the North Shore in Oahu to try it out.
