Angelo’s is great!!! Awesome service and a great family owned restaurant! The Mono Lisa is amazing! The garlic rolls with parmesan cheese on them is great! Definitely recommend!

Apparently this same restaurant has two names — Also called Michael Angelo’s Italian Restaurant at same address. Wife and I had dinner here on a Saturday night in November, 2015. Walking in on the left side is the pizza counter and a few tables. On the right side is a dining room with a reasonable amount of tables. Sat down at first table but was dirty so chose another booth. Ordered a spinach and garlic pizza as well as a pasta dish with sausage in light marinara sauce. The dinner came with a salad and 3 garlic rolls. Salad served on a small flat plate consisting of some romaine, one tomato wedge and one olive. Nothing to write home about there. We both enjoyed the garlic rolls very much. The pizza — the tomato sauce tasted watery and after the first slice, crust was soggy. Really, holding up a slice it was droopy and wimpy. Instead of the pasta dish served with marinara, the sauce was an overly creamed pink sauce(maybe supposed to be a alla vodka wannabe?). I really didn’t care for the sauce(and I like vodka sauce), but didn’t say anything as I figured I misread the menu and this is how the dish comes. The service was awful. Never came by our table to ask how our food was or did we need anything. I put my empty water glass at the very edge of the table in hope it would be seen. Nope, had to ask for more water. Also wanted more garlic rolls and 6 were brought to the table. Two would have been fine, but figure okay, 6 is better. When the check came, I noticed we were charged $ 2.95 for rolls. Server never mentioned we would be charged, and that’s the point. Had he told me, while thinking that is really a low class move on the part of the restaurant, I probably would have said okay. Now after seeing this charge on my check, I decided to look at the menu and the pasta dish I ordered. I was correct — said it comes in a light marinara sauce. So I asked for the manager. Man came to the table. Never introduced himself but I figure it was the owner. I mentioned my displeasure about the rolls, but told him I would have paid for them anyway so I would do so. However, the pasta dish was not delivered as promised. He was aware of that and said they should probably change the menu(you think?) as it now comes in a cream sauce. He took the cost of that dish off the bill. You would think the server might have mentioned that when I ordered it, but oh yeah — he didn’t have a clue. So awful service, poor food, and improper management — absolutely no reason to ever go back.

Excellent food! Very homey and comfortable. Sometimes a long wait on the pizza, but worth it.

Noooooo. I don’t know where the great reviews came from. Maybe we were here on an off night? First time visitors, never to return. Lots of Chicago memorabilia here, but nothing about this pizza said Chicago. The deep dish we ordered tasted like a frozen thick crust and was ready in 10 minutes-served already cold. We also ordered a thin and crispy, which was neither thin, nor crispy. Our waiter was nice enough, but when we said we didn’t want anything wrapped and had a pizza and a half left, nobody even asked if everything was ok. Really? Who doesn’t bring pizza home??? No manager ever came by to ask if they could do anything or why we didn’t enjoy the food. Poor management! If you don’t care about me and my experience at your restaurant, I certainly don’t care about spending my money on your soggy pizza again. Sorry Angelos, but the food gets a half star and our waiter gets the other 1 ½ for trying to make a living.

This is the very best pizza and Italian resturant in Jupiter. The pizza is perfect and the Italian dishes are spectacular.

Had Mona Lisa(the penne, with a beautiful pink tomato sauce, not the girl), but the dish was delicious(don’t know about the girl). Good salad and Chianti. Good garlic knots. Poor cannoli(should never order it after Casa Mia). Pleasant if unspectacular meal.

Love this place for a quick slice. Off the beaten path, in a weird spot, but crazy good.

We waited 1:45h for delivery of three pizzas after offering to pick them up if it would be faster. The round pizzas were just ok. They were on the salty side and very average. The Sicilian pie was better but not worth the wait.

We ordered takeout at 8:35 pm on a Sunday evening and our food arrived piping hot and excellent less than 30 minutes later. The Chicken Michaelangelo and Chicken parmesan were excellent. We will definitely order again from Angelo’s soon!

Before I even lived here, one of the movers who came to pick up my stuff told me he used to live in Jupiter and specifically told me that Angelo’s was the best pizza. I didn’t immediately try it because I was swayed by a couple restaurants with higher-star ratings from my fellow Unilocal-ers. What a mistake! This is definitely a go-to for the future. In fairness, I ordered carry-out, so I can’t speak to the service when eating in the restaurant, but the pizza has been my favorite around here!

This place is terrible! First, the old lady at the cash register NEEDS to be fired. She might be in charge or a central figure at this place but she is a complete idiot and had no respect for customers. My most recent visit, she stood at the cash register counting receipts while I stood there waiting to pick up my pizza. she was fully aware I was there but didn’t give one hoot. When it was time to get my pizza, I noticed that they made me the wrong pizza although the idiot at the front insisted they hadn’t made a mistake. It wasn’t until the pizza guy at the oven noticed on the receipt that they were wrong and apologized. They offered to make me a new one but since it was busy they said it would be 20 – 30 minutes. No thanks! My first visit about a year earlier was a little different. They got the order right but the pizza was over cooked and not good at all. In the end, I won’t even bother considering this place again. There are so any other good pizza places to go around here. Hope this place goes out of business and saves all of us the hassle.

best pizza in the area by far! we are serious pizza people from new York. been to John’s, Totonno’s, Arturo’s that are literally the first pizza shops in the country and still operating by the same families. this is among the best non coal fired pizza I have had anywhere. prices are actually too low for the quality. we usually eat there to get it fresh from the oven before the box changes it. very pleasant clean little dining room .beer always ice cold. everything we have tried has been homemade and outstanding, actually better than we have experienced in most full blown Italian restaurants in the area. we certainly do not understand the negative reviews

We visited Angelo’s again this weekend; however we got take-out. I placed our order in the afternoon and it was ready right on time when we arrived. We had a buffalo chicken pizza, meat pizza, and spinach calzone. All were delicious! This will be our go-to place for good, local pizza!

ANGELO’S — PIZZAINJUPITERJUSTDOESN’T GETANYBETTER Everybody loves pizza. Or at least they should. I grew up a couple hours west of Chicago and have had my fill of thick crust pies. Pizzerio Uno been there. Gino’s East done that. But my love has always been the thin crust version and nobody does in better in Jupiter than Angelo’s. They have been here for a long time, over 25 years. And if they keep putting out pies like this they will be here for a lot longer. We always ask for ours«extra thin» and Angelo’s is always happy to take a small crust and stretch it into a large and accomplish what we like. The sauce is excellent, the toppings are fresh and you see our favorite in the picture: ham and mushroom extra thin. Call me boring. Call me repetitive. But please bring me a ham and mushroom stretched extra thin. On the table you will find crushed oregano, grated cheese and red pepper flakes and I use them all. There is also garlic but I don’t use that. I like it like I like it and Angelo’s fits the bill whenever I need a pie . Service is OK, the house wine is OK but that pizza. Angelo’s isn’t just a pie place although I don’t waver. We have tried the Penne ala Vodka and it is good. We usually have a tossed salad and it too is good. But that pizza… it’s sooooo good. The house wine is OK but that pizza. I’ve even been known to sneak out the front door with a Cannoli and enjoyed every bite when I got home. But that pizza. We have options here in the Northern Palm Beaches but for me pizza night is Angelo’s night. We don’t take out as I don’t think any pie travels well. I am at times pushed into another pizza joint and every time they disappoint. Give me Angelo’s. Every time. Ham and mushroom extra thin. PLEASE!

Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. They have different sizes, I ordered a small which was just enough for 2 ppl, but at $ 15 bucks, I was expecting a lot more. I can’t speak for how they make all their pizzas, but there were quarter sized(and 2 quarters thick) chunks of roasted garlic under the cheese. Now, I’m an Italian from NY, and I like my garlic, but this was so overpowering I couldn’t eat it. I would expect chunks of garlic in a nice clam or marinara pasta sauce, but NEVER on a pizza aside from maybe a little grounded fine in the sauce. At least I can rest easy tonight, knowing that I am safe incase of a vampire revolution!

I have lived in the north end of Palm Beach County since 1987, and until I read a previous review on Unilocal,I had not even heard of Angelo’s…not one time. The restaurant is located in a small strip center on north side of Toney Penna Drive, in Jupiter. There is ample free parking. The restaurant opened in 1988, and again, I had no knowledge that it existed. I am glad that I discovered it, and wanted to share some of my comments. As you can imagine from being located in a strip center, the rent is not likely that high, so prices are very reasonable across the board for everything. I hate it when Italian restaurants charge huge amounts for basic food. Remember when Little Italy in NYC was once a pleasure to stroll through and have a decent dinner for a reasonable price? Today, you could spend over $ 40.00 for a small plate of spaghetti. And, I don’t care what went into it, the dish is still spaghetti. Only a sucker would pay such a price for cooked pasta. Angelo’s is family owned and operated. Angelo, the owner is almost always there going back and forth from the kitchen to the customers making sure everything is right. You know that if the owner is closely watching things, your food and service will be there too. I have been there several times now, and can say that the pizza is excellent, as are the wings. And, oh yes, the spaghetti is good too. By the way, the spaghetti is priced under $ 12.00, unless you want to add sausage or some meatballs. One of the aspects of Angelo’s that is difficult to describe is the wonderful«atmosphere» of the restaurant. I really believe that the entire family works there. Plus, there’s the usual yelling in the kitchen, servers bringing out food orders, regulars being greeted by first name, and people watching sports on TV as though they have money on it. But, I am getting off topic. I loved the atmosphere, and I felt welcome. Very casual, come as you are. If there is any short coming, I was disappointed to learn that there is only one beer on tap… Budweiser. If you’re a Bud fan, great. I prefer Miller, and just really prefer it out of a keg. They do provide ice-cold mugs to our your beer into which helps. Anyway, if you have not tried Angelo’s, stop by sometime and experience it for yourself.

Whenever I miss my Italian Nona, I eat lunch at Angelo’s. The food is excellent. Try their Sicilian slice or the pasta Fagiole. And their garlic knots are perfect – crispy and garlicky. They also have a lunch special that can’t be beat in price. The service is very personable and professional. Also the environment is cozy. I could eat there very day.

I was at the pet store next door and seeing this little Italian place in the same strip mall gave me an instant craving for pizza! We ordered a thin crust pizza with mushrooms and green peppers. It took about 25 to 30 minutes to get the pizza, which seemed long for a thin crust and considering there were only a few other patrons at the time. The pizza was decent, truly thin and non greasy, as real pizza ought to be, but in terms of taste nothing to rave about. The waitress seemed constantly rushed and never brought any refills. The inside of the restaurant is dated and a little depressing. I suppose this place is a-ok if you live in the neighborhood but not worth a special trip for it.

Great meal at a great price. Didn’t feel like cooking so the hubby and I made it to the early bird special tonight, a great piece of lasagna and he had the cheese ravioli with soup or salad and desserts and coffee under $ 10 a person! Can’t go wrong! Quaint, cozy place with a great caring staff! A must eat at kinda place!
