Wow! We went on this excursion while on our Royal Carribean Cruise, what a day it was! Monica and Randy were absolutely amazing, I was pretty scared in the beginning and they were just wonderful in helping to keep calm and zip on! We did 5 zips and it was just beautiful, I would do it again next time we cruise here, what a professional and safe zip line company, they were simply wonderful. Beautiful views in the rainforest, it was a perfect excursion, this is a MUST!

Great company and staff. Did this as a shore excursion while cruising. Everyone was friendly, genuine, knowledgeable — and most importantly: safe. Absolutely great fun!

This is a MUST! It was our first family cruise vacation. We’ve never been super adventurous, however, this was AMAZING! The staff, what I mean by that is Riley and Emily, whom were extremely kind and patient… made what could have been a disaster choice into one of the most memorable! Thank you!

We went zipping with a group arranged by our cruise. We were first time zippers. The guides were patient and fun! They have great safety practices. It was a thrill with beautiful views of the trees and mountain! Absolute treat. I’ve heard of friends who said they zipped in Costa Rica and it was too slow. For us, it was a thrill — not too fast and not too slow!

What a fabulous time we had… this is something everyone should choose as a shore excursion. Staff was all amazing(Joel and Alicia rocked!!!) I would never have thought this was something I would actually have liked but I would recommend this to anyone. This made the trip!!! The scenery is beautiful also. The tour was 110% perfect!!!

This was the first time I went ziplining and it was a blast. The staff were great and made you feel very comfortable. I would do this type of adventure again and if I’m ever in Juneau again this will be the place I go. Nice job Alaska Zipline Adventures.

We loved, loved, loved this experience. Beth and Zac were our guides and they were awesome. They gave us a great little piece of history and trivia at each landing platform, and we really enjoyed the blueberry tea they gave us about midway through all the ziplines. We’ve done a zipline before in Northern California, but that one didn’t have a suspension bridge like this one did, so that was a nice twist. And at the end of the zipline, we got to try our hand at being lumberjacks by throwing axes at a target. I didn’t do so well, but it was fun trying! I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Juneau!

Great experience — easily the best thing we did while on our cruise. Zipping 90 feet above the ground through a beautiful forest canopy is a really cool experience! Our guides Cameron and Zack were a lot of fun but importantly made sure we were all very safe. At no time was anyone ever not clipped to either a tree or the zip line. They re-checked everyone’s gear before each zip and put everyone at ease. My family had a great time and I can’t recommend it enough for your stop in Juneau.

Cameron and Patrick were the best. The company accommodated us even though our ship was 3 hours late. We were added to a group of 10. If you go… Please tip. My sister and I were the only ones out of a group of 10 that tipped these hard working guys. Come on guys… Tip!

By far the best excursion on our cruise. I never done a zipline before this so I was a bit cautious on the first zip. It’s was better than I could have every imagine, and safer than you would think. The staff was a lot of fun. Would do it again if I am ever back in this neck of the woods.

We had a great time, this was a lot of fun. We had Joel and Cadence as our guides, and they were terrific. Worth the money, and I would do it all again if I ever found myself in Juneau again.

There was four of us who took this excursion through Celebrity Cruises. All of us had an absolute blast. The staff was nice and patient. We had a bit of a late start due to the cruise ship being unorganized but the staff did their best to make sure we had time for everything. They took pictures as well and we were able to purchase them pretty cheap at the end. Good times.

Great fun-been ziplining in many places and these guys were just as good as the rest! Safety and fun seemed top priorities-the ziplines were long and they let us have fun while zipping-could do with out the free tea drink at the end-yuck! But the hatchet throwing??? AWESOME!!!

We got to Eagle Crest just in time for the last run of the day and they got three of us into the group. First time on a zipline for me and it was a lot of fun. The kids that work the Adventure were fun and very knowledgeable about the local plant life. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Juneau.

Since I am terrified of heights, being exposed to the elements while zipping down a line is not exactly my idea of fun. But the fiancé and I were in Juneau, we had never been before, so we decided to live it up. I’m so glad we did. It was the second best part of our trip(the first was us getting engaged wee!). We started off by hitching a ride from downtown Juneau up to Eaglecrest Ski Area. Our guides met us at the lodge, where we put on jackets and helmets. We all hopped in another van to take a 90 second drive up to the first zip area. Our guide Evan(I think that was his name) got us pumped up by playing the NBC Olympic theme! It was appropriate since this was during the Olympics and all. Once we were buckled in(I will have to post some pictures because us in harnesses was a hoot), off to the first zip we went! And I was soooo scared you guys. The first one wasn’t even that high off the ground, but it was enough for me! However, after 2 zips, I was hooked! What a blast ziplining is! Other than the obvious, some highlights included our amazing guides(seriously, they were so friendly and made me forget how scared I was), blueberry tea at the second to last zip, a slideshow after the zip, and a bonus ax throwing contest! I was absolutely terrible, but the fiancé managed to stick his ax right next to the bulls eye on his first try! Oh and apparently he went to high school with the owner of the place… small world! If you find yourself in Juneau, whether by cruise ship or visiting family like we were, pay up and do Alaska Zipline Adventures. You won’t forget it!

I agreed to go zip lining even though I was pretty nervous about it but I didn’t want to seem like a wimp. I guess in my head I was thinking zip lining was a rope tied between two trees while a holding a bandanna straddling the line and you zip down it. Okay, that’s a little exaggerated but I expected something more primitive. Obviously, I’m not an outdoorsy person. The whole zip lining contraption looked safe and it put some of my nerves at ease. However, once we got to the first tree station and it was my turn to go I was excited and nervous again. my heart was beating out of my chest. Then I jumped off the platform. When I got to the next platform I was enjoying the rush of adrenaline and I was thinking, «I want to go faster on the next one.» There are about 5⁄6 different zip lines that we went on. Each line I wanted to go faster or go down with no hands and on the last zip line that I went on I was hanging upside down. I had so much fun! The day that I went it was raining and really cold. On one of the platforms we chilled out for a bit(no pun intended) and the group was served some kind of tea that, I think, was brewed with Sitka Spruce. It was a nice way to warm up in the middle of the tour. Beautiful scenery too.

This is the most fun you can have in Juneau. I can’t say enough good things about this activity as the whole experience was amazing. The guides/staff are very nice and very professional. The scenery is amazing and the zipline course is breathtaking. It’s super safe and super fun. you HAVE to check it out!
