Food is absolutely wonderful. Zero complaints. Portions are a little on the small side. Don’t come starving or you are gonna end up buying multiple items to fill you up.

Not very impressed with this place at all, and coming highly recommended to me, I am so disappointed with what this«gastro pub» has to offer. The entrees are so small, you couldn’t even consider them an appetizer. We left hungry, and in my opinion, you should never leave a restaurant hungry. They were out of fish, so ¼ of the menu was out! So I settled for the chicken & waffles. Now don’t get me wrong, the food wasn’t terrible, but I have found bigger pieces of chicken in a McDonald’s box of nuggets, what I got, looked nothing like the picture added by another user. We also tried the lobster roll, and by roll I mean 2 slider buns with a V cut in the top, by the time you scoop out the 2 spoon fulls of lobster salad, you can fill up on bread. Don’t even think of sharing your starters with anyone, cause there won’t be enough for yourself, and if your thirsty, you might as well go the the bar and ask for another drink. The place was empty, and we still couldn’t get a drink… Will not be back.

The term I see floating around is «GastroPub» which suits this spot perfectly. The«Gastro» side sets this place apart, with great food made by a creative kitchen that looks to use fresh ingredients across the menu. Our favorites are the Fiesta nachos(with homemade chips,) Asiago artichoke dip(served in a wonderful bread bowl) and Gyro. Our friends also give high marks to the Fish and Chips, as well as the Chicken and Waffles. Vegetarians out there can ask for their own Gyro which substitutes homemade hummus for the lamb. It’s really tasty! On the«Pub» side, the Gaslight has plenty to offer. A very well-stocked bar can provide all the standards, along with the latest«Moscow Mule» variants, and a few house specialties. The fresh sangria was really good too, my wife says. Décor is your typical«bland bar» setup with tables, booths, and comfy sofas in the corner. It’s dark, but decent. They didn’t throw a bunch of crappy flea market finds on the walls like some places do, which is just fine with me. We’ve also been happy with the service there. They’ll come to your table to take your order, but I’ve also held up my empty glass and made eye contact with the bartender and he brought me a refill quickly. What could be better than that?

We thought the portions were appropriate, but the dishes really lacked a side, not necessarily fries, but something more. We left still hungry. We had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried almost like chick fil a’s(delicious!) and waffles were nice and fluffy. The raspberry sauce(I think that’s what it was) was a nice touch too. We also had the Lamb gyro, absolutely DELICIOUS flavor. I believe they marinate the lamb over the course of 24 hours, which makes all the difference. Very tender. Very neat atmosphere. Service was good. Bartender needs to work on being a little more personable, but he did his job. I’ll definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to see more items added to the menu!
