Meats are not smoked daily so you may get a terrible dried out tasteless meat today or if you are lucky and eat the day they smoke it’s pretty good .it will be hit and miss at the very best. Don’t take chances, ask when the meat was smoked… Good ribs or bad the price is still 15.00, because they don’t care,!!!

Do yourself a favor: take exit 6, drive north on Main, and go to Sawmill! Rib Crib is everything that is wrong with franchise bbq. Great service, but didn’t go there to meet friendly people.

Just left rib city not impressed at all, had baby back ribs, didn’t lime the taste, not impressed by BBQ sauces. Waiters not very friendly .They need to try stlouis BBQ worst BBQ in st Louis better than this.

Always enjoy coming here. The food is great, and so is the atmosphere. My only complaint is that when we first come in it usually takes a minute or two for someone to come over and seat us, even though it’s not busy. They could work on that.

I stopped in for lunch today. We usually go for dinner, but I was in Joplin for business and decided to stop in for lunch.
The food was very good today. Hot and delicious. I was also pleased with the service. It was very fast. My order was taken quickly, food came out quicker than I expected too. The waitress commented that she knew I was probably on lunch hour and needed to eat very quickly. She did a great job!
Hot Tip: The lunch combo is a great deal! You get your choice of TWO meats, one side, and the drink is also included. All for only $ 9.99, which I thought was a great deal since I always get the sweet tea and it was included in the lunch combo.

Have been to a Rib Crib in Branson before & decided to try the one in Joplin, since we were in town. Went last night & got seated right away. Waitress was very attentive & friendly — checked on us quite a bit & made sure we had refills. That being said… the wet nap that we got at the end of the meal was actually warmer than the meat on the plates. DH got pork & brisket, I got pork & chicken — & it was all luke warm (room temperature if we were lucky). As it was a Saturday night & they were getting busier (& we were really hungry), we decided not to send it back.
When the waitress came for the money, we gave her a pretty generous tip, but made sure that she knew about the temperature problem. She said that should would pass it along to the manager. Overall, the taste of the food was good.

Servers were good tonight, and was pleased at the recommendation of Springfield Microbrew, «Three Blind Mice». Ribs were disappointing, but I ordered a combo that only had 2 — maybe I got the dry, tasteless end of the slab. Good friendly family atmosphere, but not a place for a BBQ snob like me.

The food has been decent whenever I’ve been here. The problem is that every time we eat here, it has been very understaffed. There have been times where we’ve stood at the door for 10 – 15 minutes before a host/hostess even comes to the front of the store. Our servers have all been nice and we’ve never had a problem with the food, it just seems that all the employees are stretched incredibly thin.

It’s a great place to eat ribs at! Good clean place, the selection of the food is nice. The appetizer nachos are really great. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated even though we where six people. I feel we got the best waitress in the place. Always checking if we needed something bringing us the food very fast. As for the rest of the girls they all had a somewhat of a stink eye. The prices are decent not so much it will break your wallet.

eh — average service-average food-sat me right in line with the door so that every time someone came in I was blinded by the sun — ahh – theres got to be a place out there-somewhere that thinks about the customer and the head count to cost ratio!!!
