Poor customer service, rude and insulting.. I have purchased there for special occasions at least six times in the past 20 years, They are a high end shop where you do not peruse the racks;they bring items to you one at a time. There are some items on display and very little «sale items». While I was there helping my sister buy a MOB dress, I purchased a dress from the rack. This is the first time I have bought on sale ($ 400) at this shop. When I picked up my dress after a minor alteration, I found a brown stain on the scarf. Not sure when or how this happened but I called immediately and was told to bring it back before they closed for vacation today.
At pick up later, i check before leaving and the original stain was gone but there were several others On my third return, the saleswoman (Pat) hesitantly asked if I wanted to check again before leaving: but of course! This is where the shop became rude, insulting and embarrassing. I was told «you know it is what it is» and «you did buy it on sale!»! Yes, on sale not «as is» with stains. I could not believe she said that to a customer, especially a repeat one! I cant imagine a high end dept store saying such a thing… I will never shop there again nor will anyone I know. Too bad my sis already paid for her dress order. Not sure how a business can afford to treat customers so poorly. «It is what it is»…a very rude place to shop.

Rude! Rude Rude! I have never been treated so poorly by a sales person. I have been in this store a few times in my life time and every time I go in I always say the same thing. I am not the only person with an issue with this place. Everyone I now who has shopped there has had the same experience. I have no idea how they are still in business. I have found there are much better places to spend the $ 400 — 1000 on a dress in RI.
