Great little deli. the produce always looks fresh and I like the deli. big selection of meats and cheeses with reasonable prices. the sale items every week is usually very good cheapest around.
I come here for the chicken salad and cold cuts when they run sales.
Friendly staff and the place is always very clean.
They have a place connected next door that you can order food like subs, fish and chips among other things. i have not tried it yet.

Great little Italian marker and deli. The staff is very friendly. It does not look like on the outside, but they are a little neighborhood market on the inside.

We were out in the area for a baseball tournament that my 13 year old was playing in. Needing a bite to eat, we stopped in here as it was only a mile or so from the field. I’ve never been here before and figured that it looked promising as the lot was full of cars and it appeared to be a privately owned business — I really don’t like Subway or D’Angelo’s and the like.
On one side there’s a decent looking market but we didn’t have time to browse. The other side has a deli counter, which is where we went. I ordered an Italian sub and my wife got a little personal type pizza. The counter girl asked me if I wanted a soft roll or hard for the bread on my sub and this caught me a little off guard. I said ‘hard’, hoping for a crusty style Italian bread. I chose well!
The sub was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, partly because it was on real bread! The roll was very similar in texture and flavor to Buono’s bread, which is my favorite. The meats were traditional and fresh and even the tomatoes were fresh, RED and bursting with that garden tomato flavor.
My wife’s pizza petite was on a wheat crust with roasted red peppers and generous amounts of fresh garlic clove. I had a couple bites and it was also delicious.
Bonus points to the place for a sparkling clean restroom.
If I ever have to go back to Johnston I will definitely stop here again and try some other items. Good stuff.

I was heading up Rt. 295 around noontime, and I checked my GPS for a sandwich shops. I try to patronize independent businesses as much as I can. It gave me Roman Deli & Seafood. I figured I order a large Roast Beef sandwich for my six young-​old son and myself. It was HUGE! I could not believe how much meat they put in the sandwich. My son likes just meat and bread for a sandwich, so I took his fixings and gave him half the sandwich. I figured I would eat whatever he left behind. Not only was I full on my half, but he finished his entire half. A large Roast Beef sandwich, and a bag of chips (No drink, we drank XS energy drinks) only cost us $ 7.77. The place is extremely clean, well light and friendly; clean, well kept bathrooms as well. The only thing negative was, it was a hot day out, but it was freezing in there. My son had Goosebumps. I think it’s because it’s more than a deli shop. It’s a great find, and I will definitely go back whenever I’m in the area.
