The selection is decent but the prices are expensive compared to say, Parkway or Lanes(Lanes selection kinda sucks tho). I usually go here because it’s the closest one to my parents house and also on the way home from the gym. And, unlike a few other liquor stores I’ve been to in the area, it doesn’t seem as if they have any type of discount program for students, seniors, or for buying in bulk. The employees are nice but I’ve never asked them for any recommendations.

Oakdale Wine and Liquor is the only wine and spirit store I go to in the Binghamton area. I have looked in on a couple others and I prefer the selection and service at Oakdale. I am new to the wine and spirit world, traditionally being more interested in craft beer. Recently though I have been trying to broaden my tastes. Whenever I go into Oakdale I usually have some new item I am looking for and end up going straight to the staff to ask for their advice. As you would hope the staff is quite knowledgeable and will recommend items based on price, quality, or both. I always think that the selection they offer is nicely diverse. They seem to have variety in every price range and I like to try the different brands of the wines and spirits. Overall I like going to Oakdale Wine and Liquor. Their proximity to Wegmans, Weis, and the mall should make them a convenient stop if you’re out and about running errands and need some wine or spirits.
