Persian deliciousness! We tried 2 of the eggplant appetizers… tie for how great they where. The lamb shank & tenderloin was super tender. Great service too!

I walked in this restaurant with pretty good expectations considering I had already looked up most of the stuff on Unilocal(here). I have to admit, in a way it was better than I thought but not completely. When they came out with the bread I expected some very high quality bread because that is usually what you get at Persian restaurants. Sadly that is not what I received. I got some cheap tortilla bread that I could have easily bought at Kroger. I did, in fact, like it but that is only because I get it a lot. Just know you might not. Also when I was ordering a drink I was talking with someone about if he thought their sweet tea might taste different because sometimes with different cuisines the drinks will taste different. As I was talking the waiter seemed to be impatient for he started getting up and tapping his foot. I am impatient too but I still wait and besides, if you are a waiter you should have at least some patience in my opinion. The food was quite delicious and the only thing keeping me from making this a three star was the spectacular chocolate cake with Persian ice cream on top. I would recommend this restaurant but just know there are a few faults.

We were surprised to find a Persian restaurant so close to home that we had to try it out. Noosh is a little table cloth restaurant with a couple of tables for outdoor dining and a couple dozen tables inside. They have live music a couple days a week, when we were there they were playing jazz. they were very good and did not compete with the dinner conversation. For an appetizer we split an order of Mosto Spinach with hot bread to dip with. I thought it was«ok» my wife enjoyed it and had some with her entrée. I ordered the combo, one chicken one beef kabob with cherry rice, my wife also had the chicken, beef combo with Lenti Rice. I should note that substuting plain rice for another rice is $ 3.95 extra. The entrée comes with a nice salad and grill tomatoe. Not only was the food good there was so much we have lunch for tomorrow. They do have beer and wine, but no bar.

The food is always prepared fresh and tastes delicious. I always order the chicken and beef kabob with the basmati rice. I believe it is called«The Vaziri» on the menu. As an appetizer I order the«Kashkobodemjan», which is a Persian eggplant appetizer. It is served with soft, warm, bread and salad on the side. The owner has a presence and takes the time to see whether her customers are satisfied. The atmosphere is classy and quaint, but small. On the weekends they have live music.

I can’t wait to come back. Our server was sweet, the atmosphere was beautiful and the food… Well it was amazing. Must try baba ganoush!!! Seriously don’t let yourself miss it! The meals came with a yummy salad that had lots of purple cabbage, when combined with the dressing it turns the salad PINK! So cute. I got the shrimp kabob, they were some of the most flavorful shrimp I’ve ever had and were cooked perfectly. Boo had the rack of lamb which was stunning and perfect.

Noosh is excellent. I’ve been here many times and they never disappoint. The chicken, lamb and beef are always cooked and seasoned to perfection. I personally get the Koubideh Kabob usually. That is always a great dish. The sautéed eggplant is a great appetizer — I’m not an eggplant fan but this stuff is really good! Small, quaint and cozy dining room. On Friday and Saturday nights they have live music. Enjoy!

My coworker and I just had one of the best lunches we can remember. This was our first time to Noosh and it will certainly not be the last. The baba ghanoush was absolutely excellent. The hummus was also fantastic. My coworker had the lamb wrap, while I had the chicken mihksoos. The chicken, on the menu, claimed that it was the bistro’s «signature dish.» Well, that’s a signature you can bank on. It was tender. It was juicy. It was not overpowered by lemon at all. It was all excellent.

I was delighted to find this wonderful Persian restaurant tucked away in a corner of Johns Creek. We had the Barg Kabob and Soltani Kabob(one is tenderloin, the other is ground sirloin). Both were delicious with generous servings and served with saffron rice. Other tempting entrees include chicken, lamb and salmon. I hadn’t thought about wine, but was pleasantly surprised to see a decent selection of reasonably priced wines. Who knew? We also enjoyed being serenaded by jazz duo, Godfrey and Guy, and learned that live Persian/Turkish music is played on Saturday and Sunday. A very attentive staff catered to our needs, contributing to a fantastic dining experience.

We visited Noosh just a week after dining at Rumi, and we preferred this experience much more. While the restaurant isn’t as trendy, the food was significantly better in our opinion. We tried all three of the yogurt mixtures to begin our meal — the shredded cucumber option was our favorite. I had the chicken kabob with the wedding rice, and my husband had the barg kabob, also with wedding rice. Our food was delicious! Extremely tender and the rice was interesting and rather addictive. New favorite of ours!

I stopped by Noosh for lunch today at the recommendation of a Persian friend. We were a party of three, including my girlfriend and my brother. I ordered the Soltani Kabob, my brother had the Khoubideh kabobs, and Linda had the lamb kabob. They were all lunch portions, and were very generous. The food preparation was right on point and delicious. The kabobs were grilled to perfection and very tender and juicy. The saffron rice that accompanied each dish was plentiful end expertly prepared. We had their appetizer plate of greens, cheese and olives, along with a yogurt and cucumber dill condiment. These were served with two types of of Persian Naan that were freshly baked on site. I must also commend our server. She was prompt, gracious and non intrusive. She even had the chef prepare a Persian salad for us that was not on their menu. As with all other elements of the meal, it too was perfect. I am a real fan of Persian food, having lived and worked in Iran for 3 years many years ago during the Shah’s reign. Today was as good as I’ve had anywhere in the US.

It’s fairly small inside, but on a Sunday for lunch it wasn’t crowded. The interior reminded me and my husband of an Italian restaurant in Naples we went to. The staff was really interested in making sure we had a good experience. I had the hummus appetizer and the steak, maybe kubedah?, kabob with rice. It was an extraordinary amount of food. I really wished we weren’t going somewhere afterward so we could take the leftovers home. Next time we’ll have to share something. It’s definitely a great place to eat family style with a group, too.

BESTFOOD. We order from Noosh for our family thanksgiving. great flavors and large portions! My go to menu item is the house kabob but you can’t go wrong with any. Just recently tried the salmon kabob and wedding rice, it was to die for. Noosh is easily my favorite place in the area.

We went there on the way back from Amicalola falls. We are all vegetarians and we were a party of 7. The food was amazing. The owner came abs explained all the dishes and even asked us to try a few samplers. The egg plant delight was amazing. We also had 4 types of Rice and all the dishes were top class. I would recommend it to anyone.

I love this place! I was visiting town for a business trip and tried Noosh and I love it! I asked the chef to choose for me four of his best vegetarian appetizers to sample and he did an amazing job choosing — I highly recommend the two eggplant appetizers, the hummus, and the yogurt and spinach dip. The wine list was awesome and the cheesecake baklava for dessert is a scrumptious invention that you shouldn’t miss!

I know why this is one of my friend’s favorite places! The ambience is great — smaller place, and very clean and modern looking décor with a few tables outside. Everything was great — the hummus, the cornish game hen, the beef and the rices. We each upgraded our rice — she got the Wedding rice(her favorite) and I tried the special house rice with lentils and golden raisens. Loved them both and worth the bit extra charge. Decent wine list and service. If I ever get back to this area I will insist we go back!

Went there for Lunch on a Sunday. The place is very well decorated with some good music playing in the background. As we entered we were immediately seated. The welcome was warm and genuine. Our server was very attentive and courteous. We ordered Pita Bread and Vegetable Torshi to start with which was excellent. The Pita bread was thin and fresh. For the main course we ordered, Chicken Kabab, Lamb Shanks and a Combo Platter. All three Entrée came with a fresh Salad with a light yogurt based dressing. Chicken Kabab was very soft and succulent, Lamb Shank came with a light gravy and the meat was just falling off the bone. The Combo Platter came with a skewer of Chicken Kabab and a Skewer of Beef Kabab. The food was flavorful, fresh and portion was generous. The best part of the experience was the service which was warm, welcoming and extremely pleasant. This will be a regular haunt!

The best baklavah in atl, perfectly crisp and luscious. Also the salad is great with those middle eastern pickles on it. Also do not neglect the daily stew or khoresh, which are a staple of Persian cooking. I respect the fact that they only prepare one a day so that it is fresh. Mine was a lemony beef stew in a green sauce. The medley of herbs, mint, parsley basil and unbelievably tarragon, that is served with the feta appetizer, took me by surprise. A touch that shows real gastronomic dedication. The thick, Naan– like turkish bread is delish, the thin square bread served with hummus not so much. Be sure to ask for the former.

I had noticed Noosh’s reviews a couple of months ago, but we hadn’t had an opportunity to try it. Last weekend we were free for lunch on Saturday, so we swung by around noon. The dining room is fairly small, but is nicely decorated. There were only a few tables occupied when we were there but I’d assume that lunch on a Saturday is not their busiest time of the week. We each got a different kabob plate(no lunch specials on the weekend, just FYI) and shared. My wife liked her salmon okay but she is fairly particular about fish. She liked it even more when she seasoned the leftovers at home the next day. As for me, I enjoyed my Koobideh kabob a lot; my wife tried it and liked it as well. I would definitely consider coming back.
