I went to this place as everybody else did, because it’s close to where I live but to be honest I don’t find anything even close to OK. Too congested it has literally 6 benches paired in couples in different corners. The price I think is all right(you could find cheaper and better ones in the near by area) but the worst of all is the staff. I went over the weekend and had some work on my laptop, the employee would not let me charge my laptop saying«it’s only for laundry use» none of the machines have a timer so to add to your pain you have to wait there standing, doing nothing and don’t even have a freaking idea how long it’s gonna take. Not going there again.

This is my go-to laundromat even though it takes me a couple of blocks to get to. It is located at the cross section of Mercer and Summit and I have no problems with it. Like the previous review, it’s not anything state of the art but good enough for me. When I say it’s my go-to laundromat, I mean that it’s my go-to place in the Journal Square that isn’t past Montgomery Street as I refuse to go further than that. I only do my laundry on the weekdays after work hours, so I can’t speak for how busy it can get on the weekends or anything, but whenever I do go, it isn’t too busy for the most part. There are change machines present, and there is usually someone working there present as well. It’s kept clean for the most part also, so no complaints there. The hours are somewhere between 7am and 8:30pm. Washers range from $ 1+ to over $ 4. There are small, medium, and large washers. There’s a bunch of dryers too. Overall, I like this place!

Having just moved to the area and in need of a desperate wash, I found myself skimming all the options. I have yet to purchase one of those fun little cart things so of course proximity was paramount in my decision making. I found this place not by reviews but by getting lost during a run and seeing it only a few blocks from home. So, crisis averted, I live close to a laundry mat. The place itself is small, U-shaped and seems to have a lot of people in a small area. My best advice is to discard the single load washers and put in a bench, but I used the broken machines as a separating table. The have machines such as the giant one that can do essentially 6 loads in one fall swoop. It takes twenty quarters but it does most everything in one load. Prices I felt were cheap, I did around 10 or so loads of laundry for about $ 14. That’s pretty good in my opinion. All the Machines your want to work do, and the dryer is 8 minutes for a quarter, there are also machines there for change and you can buy some detergent if you find yourself without any. Everyone seemed nice and people are polite to move and work in the small space. It’s clean and it works for us. So I’m happy. It’s not state of start he art, it’s not huge and it could use better ventilation, but I liked it and will return until something opens up on my street or I move. They do offer a drop off and they will fold option but I don’t know anything about it, so you’d have to ask. Sign said minimum 10 pounds and minimum of $ 10.
