Great area especially during the summer time. Everyone is very friendly. Just a great location in general. I love my very berry tea

After a 12 hr shift came here got a cold drink and I order a cup of ice. Ask to use the bathroom and as I was walking, a young men yelled out loud for everyone to hear«I know what ur going to do in there» I was so in disbelieved and could not understand what made this staff member think that behavior was acceptable. Everyone stare and I just walked away. I should have gotten his name and call the company for further investigation on why this behavior is acceptable in this location

Saturday; 11:00pm Conveniently located next to a parking garage. I got a tea to enjoy on my hour drive home as the DD. The barista was very friendly and knowledgeable about the tea selections, and as a self-proclaimed tea connoisseur I was glad to see that.

Great location. Only a few steps aways from Grove Street Path station. There’s always a huge line before 9am. They seem to go thru the line pretty quick though. There’s one big communal table that you can do your thing with free refill/wifi all day. Lol I love the new idea of the powermat built in to the table, so you can charge mobile devices. I still can’t figure out how to get mine to work. Thanks to the mobile order. I don’t have to wait in line anymore.

As with most Starbucks, this one remains true to their business model. The coffee is up to par and the service is also top notch. Where this specific location succeeds and struggles is its specific location. It’s right next to the Grove Street Path station, which for all intents and purposes is very nice for those NYC commutes. However, it’s due to this same reason that this Starbucks suffers a one star loss. The foot traffic in this location is very heavy and during peak hours you’ll be very lucky to find a place to sit to do your work or just to relax. Overall, I still enjoy coming here to get a blonde roast. 100% would recommend.

Amazing and fast. The young ladies in the morning are a very efficient and there is never a long wait. They know they will see me as long as I’m in jersey city!

Probably, one of the most busiest Starbucks in town… I never managed to find an empty seat whenever I happened to visit here. The staff is very nice, but the place is always so messy… one big reason why I stopped going to this SB joint. There are definitely better coffee places around than this one. Avoid!!!

This Starbucks is slow on early weekend mornings and doesn’t have enough seating(nor does it have outdoor seating). I live in Jersey City but go to the Hoboken(Washington Street store during the week). There seems to be a revolving crew of new and clueless, weekend morning crews that move in slow motion seemingly totally unaware of how long people are waiting for the drinks. I haven’t gotten my drink inside of 10 minutes in a long time. There are also mistakes made with food orders. A couple weeks ago I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese only to find out it was still half frozen as I bit into it halfway to the golf course. Needless to say no breakfast that day. I even wrote to the regional office to let them know about their seating issue and offered a solution: There are plenty of larger spaces becoming available on Newark avenue(this was over 2 years ago and it’s still true today), and these clowns stay at the same lousy location. It’s amazing the amount of bullshit we’ll put up with for our favorite cup of morning coffee. But you don’t have to, go someplace else. I do.

Love this Starbucks because I’m lactose intolerant and they have free soy milk. Been coming here for years. Love it and will continue to come here as long as I have family friends here. Boom

It’s your standard Starbucks, long morning lines included of course. The earlier you get there, the shorter the line of course. Get there at 9am and you’ll easily be waiting ten minutes. My issue with this location is that there are too many times I’m «greeted» by the same employee with RBF who should be working in the afternoons if she doesn’t want to be there. And there’s also been a couple of times where there’s been one person making drinks while the line is practically out the door. That’s pretty frustrating when you’re trying to get to work. But what can I say? It’s on my way to work and close to the Grove Street Path, so it’s not like I can go anywhere else because of its convenience(but I will say, the Choc O Pain iced coffee is quite good and about the same price). Meh, I feel cranky just writing this review!

I frequent this place between 7am-9am during the weekdays and I’m rarely satisfied. Service is slow and majority of the staff do not smile. My first human interaction in the mornings is usually with a barista and more times than not it’s not really pleasant. A smile can truly go along way. The space is huge with lots of seating but it’s usually occupied by people with their laptops, iPads and/or books as this place has free wifi. The location is super convenient next to the Grove St Path and a popular bus stop that many buses pass so that’s a plus.

Poor quality peppered by poor attitudes. In general it’s usually ok, but not a place I’d recommend as a regular stop. –I work for Starbucks.

I went to this Starbucks yesterday and ordered 25 drinks(of all flavors and sizes) for a TV crew at 9AM. I expected a long wait for the order. My expectations were not met. The staff here were fast, but more important, efficient and friendly. The order was big and I was surprisingly not met with any attitude(which I’ve received at other Starbucks and coffee shops). They wrote down everyone’s name on each cup without me asking them to do it(which many other Starbucks are lazy to do). It was a team effort. They worked together to get my order right & done in a timely manner, while also taking care of the long line that filed in(it was 9am). I wish I had cash from the production at the time to tip them because they deserved it. To the staff here, THANKYOU, your hard work is appreciated!

Yeah, yeah, it’s a Starbucks, they’re all the same, blah blah blah. Well, this one stands out thanks to one of their baristas. Like most Starbucks aficionados, I have one of those annoying-sounding drink orders: an iced, triple tall, soy latte. For this privilege, I am fleeced $ 5.40 per visit. Luckily, I generally make my own espresso at home, but that’s not always an option. The other day after I placed my order, the barista who made it said to me, «next time just order an iced triplo in a tall cup.» She said most of the time they leave soymilk out at the milk bar, since Starbucks doesn’t generally charge extra for soymilk if it’s under 4 ounces. With tax, this drink — which is identical to my normal drink — costs only $ 2.25. That’s a whopping 58% discount off of what I usually pay. Multiply that times all the times I order one of these in a year, and that’s a *significant* savings. I’ve never seen a Starbucks — or any place else for that matter — go out of their way to save a customer money. But I’m glad this barista did. 5 stars. Just for you.

Location is good. Staff can be a bit slow because they tend to socialize with each other and some customers way too much. Very crowded in the morning. Some of the staff also do not fill a Venti up past about ¾ full. I complained once and got a nasty response back.

This location is okay. I’ve had a lot of «meh, whatever» experiences. The location is great and it’s super convenient from where I live, but I’m not a fan of the service. It’s very wishy-washy depending on who’s there that day. I’ve had baristas who take forever to even take my order and I’ve had baristas who are really nice and efficient at getting orders and moving the line along. The best time to go is during the weekday. It’s not packed at all and there’s plenty of space left to sit. It’s actually a pretty big Starbucks and they have an extensive seating area. Most of the seats there are near an outlet, which is really important for me. Overall, depending on when you come here, you can either have a really good or a really bad experience.

This Starbucks is ALWAYS busy. I’ve never not had to wait on line and I was torn between the 3 and 4 stars for this place. It’s always busy and it’s always a bit sloppy. Don’t ever expect to find a seat here, because it’s rare. The staff is a mix of super sweet to a little surly, but I get it, serving up coffee to a lot of inpatient people consistently is not a pleasure, I’m sure. I do always love the music and I honestly really enjoy Starbuck’s iced coffee(aka jet fuel), so it’s a solid stop for me.

They get my order slightly wrong(unless I watch and correct them) almost every time. It’s a little disappointing for a starbucks. If you’re driving by before work and want a quick fix, there’s usually a temporary parking spot available right in front of the location(I doubt you’re actually allowed to park there, but the cars there are in and out within 2 minutes.) I wish there was more seating, because unless you’re there at 7am, you’re unlikely to find a spot to sit in(unless you want to awkwardly squeeze in between 2 people at the bigger table that they have). Get there at 7am or 9pm to guarantee a seat.
