I totally agree with Bob C’s review about their chicken and certainly about their amazing sauce. You cannot go in here without trying that sauce. It would be great if they were open later than 9pm.

Peruvian food with a Chinese twist? Ordered a chicken combo and peruvian meat skewers. The chicken was very good and delicious with the green sauce. Not a lot of flavor on its own. The meat from the skewers were over cooked and tough to eat. Best thing about the place is the green sauce. They had some Chinese show playing on the TV while we waited for our food. Plenty of seating, more of a takeout place.

This is like a mixture of spanish and chinese food! You have to try it… its right on central ave in jersey city heights… once you walk in the ordering station is to the left with tons of seating to the right…, today i walked in and it was packed… i really came to see what the fuss is about and mannnnn the food is better than good… no exageration… they had take out menu laying around, but what drawn me was the pictures of the meals on the top to be honest. the prices are decent… so i went with the pork fried rice, pork ribs, and half rotisserie chicken which came with a sauce i put on the whole meal… which made my lunch .if you never had peruvian food, which this is… go try it! The plus is the portions are more than enough for one person and they also deliver which i will keep in mind for the near future

The chicken here is like Walmart Rotisserie, just a little fresher. Nothing spectacular, but not bad tasting either. If you have another option in the area you might go with that j less you’re determined for strictly chicken. Also had the tripe and was not impressed.

As my boyfriend is Peruvian I’m completely hooked onto their food. I can’t begin to explain how obsessed I am. lol As for this restaurant AMAZING. Of course it’s not a let’s get dolled up and go out to dinner place. Very casual! My regular order there consist of… Quarter of a chicken(Breast requested), arroz chaufa and well done french fries. I of course order Inca cola as a refreshment. It’s delicious and the staff is nice too. Dare I not forget to mention the aji sauce they provide, heaven in a bottle. I just made myself hungry, enjoy Unilocalers!

Got 2 piece chicken with garden rice, was pretty good, 4⁄5 but it didn’t include what half the menu said it would for the«lunch special»

This is a fast food, hole in the wall kind of place so don’t expect anything fancy and full service. Their chicken, ribs, and lomo saltado is pretty good. The portions and prices are very reasonable.

I decided to try the rotisserie chicken because of their prices and I had been craving it ever since I had it from another restaurant which was outstanding(La Caravana in Passaic). Unfortunately theirs was dry/overcooked. Even the dark meat!

I love this place, I am salivating thinking about how I am going to be eating it later tonight. The reviewers below are right, the only good side is the yucca. It doesn’t matter though, for a takeout whole chicken for about ten bucks, this place cannot be beat.

I was excited to try this place after a recommendation from a co-worker; she brought food for lunch from Kikiriki’s Paterson location. Upon arrival, I was a little disenchanted I was the only customer in the place, although it was late Sunday afternoon(but football season is over!). I ordered the chicken and ribs combo over pork fried rice and an order of tostones. The tostones had the faded yellow color and taste of the frozen, bland kind. The rice was just okay, although it was better than some of the pork fried rice I’ve had at area Chinese restaurants. The ribs were really small and mostly bone. Although the skin was a little flabby, I thought the chicken was good, as was the aji sauce that came with it. I wish the sauce had a little more heat though, but maybe that’s just my personal preference. I would like to come back and try the tallarines(noodles) and the lomo, and maybe will be able to edit my review accordingly. As of right now, though, I’d say Kikiriki is a good spot for some inexpensive pollo, but that’s about it.

Allow me to state my case. I will honest as best as possible. I don’t like this restaurant. I went there with my daughter to have a good meal and to our surprise the food was horrible! The beans were watery and tasteless. The chicken as well. The problem with these restaurants when it comes to seasoning their foods is the sad fact that instead of seasonning their chicken the way it supposed to be seasoned, they just season it on the outside. The inside remains tasteless. This is one of the biggest mistakes«some» restaurants make. Iam sorry But iam not going there ever again.

I have been going to this place for about 2 years. Their food is delicious. Their ribs are excellent, the chicken is juicy and the special rice is filling. I usually get the combination # 3 that comes with the ribs and chicken for about 7 bucks. 2 people can eat out of this. Their plaintains are always soft and ripe. This place is cheap and delicious. Delivery is a little delay, i recommend picking up the food.

Pretty damn good Peruvian rotisserie chicken and it’s all about the chimichurri sauce on the side(ask for extra) you’re going to want to put it on EVERYTHING. On a day you’re feeling like fried chicken, give Kikiriki a try and get hooked. It does close kind of early at 9pm, so get there early and get your order in.

The food here is very fresh but also sort of greasy. The chicken was very juicy, but there was this citrus flavor that overwhelmed the chicken and gave it a strange taste that I wasn’t quite fond of.
