Domino’s Pizza

Normally I get my deliveries from the Newark avenue location and they have been on the nose, but this time I ordered from this place. The order was two medium pizzas and a specialty chicken.
When we opened the specialty chicken the box was clearly half eaten. It looked like a very hungry person had ransacked the order and thought perhaps that I wouldn’t call to inquire about why was there only a fraction of my order. Incidentally, when I did call, the person didn’t seem to believe what I was saying. I calmly explained there was no reason I’d received only a part of my order and to talk to the driver or someone in the kitchen. I was placed on hold for an eternity; called back and explained again the situation. Their response was a re-​delivery of the order the driver clearly put his fingers in.
Even if I do get my complete order I’ll never order from this place again.

Oh my god!
1.5 hours to deliver one pizza 8 blocks away.
Pizza was frozen by the time I got it.
Manager was rude, phone operator even worse.
If kitchen is backed then just let me know don’t keep trying to buy time.
Oh and their website tracker is wrong!!! It said everything was delivered 40 min before actual delivery. Defeats the purpose of having a tracker

Food was cold when it arrived, and incorrect. When I called they said they were out of what I wanted and just substituted with what they had. What!!! You don’t cal the customer to let them know? No apologies, even speaking with the manager — worst customer service ever. Papa Johns has better service and better food.

I very rarely eat Domino’s pizza. I’m not a fan in general. However, it’s often difficult to get food late at night around these parts, if I want a break from Chinese food, not in the mood for cooking or have friends over (and still not in the mood for cooking).
I hated the old premises — it always looked rather dodgy. Much has improved since they moved to the new place, around the corner. It looks much more inviting. Nice to see folks making the pizza at the front, rather than at the back.
I ordered a small pepperoni and onion pizza. I was only charged some $ 6 or so and thought «here we go, they’ve got my order wrong» but had to wait because the woman that took my order was multi-​tasking and couldn’t get her attention. However, the order was correct. Still not sure why it was so cheap. Anyway, the pizza was just what you expect for Domino’s. If you are a fan of Domino’s Pizza then I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Didn’t really have to wait all that long, despite that they were obviously busy making orders for delivery. Can’t speak of any personal experience of getting an order delivered as I never get food delivered.

Nearly two hours and the order hasn’t arrived yet… Called the store a few times and they don’t answer either. Beyond ridiculous.

Let me start out by saying that my comrades and I traveled hours and countless miles, no… leagues even to have a reunion after not seeing each other for several years. After our long and arduous journeys we all met up and had one thing in mind, to satisfy our famished bellies… To order tons and tons of dominos pizza.
We ordered at 6 pm, and an hour later it still said our pizza was in the oven… I know I love my charred pizza to be as dark as a black hole. We ended up calling and they told us «you placed an order to be delivered at 8 pm». This was an an outrage. We would never do such a thing, and our order did not reflect that. I asked if they could put our pizza in the oven now and they agreed. 8 pm rolled around and our delicious, grease smothered pizzas had still not shown up. So we called again and this time they told us it was not ready. Ohhhhhhh ok so our pizzas have been in the oven for over 2 hours now. What kind of medieval oven do you have? I hope we get our pizza before Labor Day at this point. For the night is dark and full of Terrors and I can feel myself wasting away

Ordered a veggie pie & got a different pie which was half pep. And half cheese. Idk why they don’t double check orders as they should!

Ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza via phone and it arrived with a onions and cheddar cheese on it. I didn’t order a BBQ Chicken Pizza with onions and cheddar. For people who don’t have access to a full menu or have difficulty navigating the app, any phone associate should have mentioned and verified what I wanted on the pizza just as a confirmation on both ends. Now I have a $ 15 pizza I cannot eat. anyone want a slice?

the service is awful. i honestly do not know how hard it can be for an employee to pick up a ringing phone. i called about 15 times before someone picked up, after calling another location that was able to answer, but not deliver to my location. delivery normally takes about an hour. ordering from here is just about as frustrating as needing to pull a tooth.

This location is about 2 blocks from my apartment and the service I get from them is horrible. I ordered, get this, stuffed bread and chicken bites, and a soda, it’s taken over an hour. I called the store after the app said my food was delivered, but it hasn’t been amd they me they tried calling and driver did too. Really? Cause I have my phone in my hand and it’s not rang once. Also what’s the point of putting the door code in the delivery instructions if you’re too dumb to use it or even read it. And don’t argue with me when I call you, you’re obviously the one that messed up, not I!!!

The service was not good. They said my pizza would be delivered in 20 minutes. After 45 minutes I called. They said my pizza would be free and they would deliver my pizza in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later (1 hour and 15 min I’ve been waiting) they finally brought my pizza. The driver then said it wasn’t free. The driver called the store and the store manager said they never talked to me and that he can’t guarantee free pizza. This is very poor service from a place that I’ve been ordering from for over a year now. Do not use this location. They have no integrity and do not provide customer service.

I gave this Dominos pizza the benefit of the doubt because they compensated me for the last time it took almost 2 hours to get my pizza.
Unfortunately, it happened again. I took 1 hour and 54 minutes for my pizza to arrive. The pizza was completely cold. I called to inquire about the status of my pizza. I informed the staff that it had been almost 2 hours since I place my order. There was no apology or offer of compensation for the excessive wait.
I don’t even mind waiting for the pizza, but I would like it hot or at least warm upon arrival.
According to the Dominos online pizza tracker, my pizza was baked within 10 minutes of placing the order. It then took another hour and 44 minutes for the pizza to arrive. If they are that busy they should wait to put the pizza in the oven until closer to the potential delivery time.
The pizza was prepared as ordered. The driver was courteous.
If you don’t mind waiting 2 hours for a cold pizza then order from here.

This Dominos has finally caused me to write this review my disappointment is beyond disappointing. I placed a rather large order and tipped my delivery guy very well, however when I was able to examine my order I was disappointed to find that my food was poorly put together the pizza was over done and cold my pasta bowl chicken alfredo which I requested extra sauce, not only was there no extra sauce which I paid for but it had little to no sauce and little to no chicken.
I immediately called the Dominos to complain I tried calling for two hours to no avail, when I was finally able to reach someone I asked to speak with the manager the young lady on the phone then relayed messages from her manager to me he was not even man enough to get on the phone to hear my frustrations, I asked the young lady for the corporate phone number she said they didn’t have it I then asked to speak to the manager and I asked for his name that is when she hung up on me I tried calling back of course but I got no answer this is the poorest quality of customer service I have experienced in a while I will never order from this location again.

Never ordering from here again ! Made a order online followed the tracker I give them a call no answer called back another 6 times still no answer my credit was charge yet I didn’t get my food! My bf had to go to the actual place to see where are food is if I wasn’t charged on my credit I wouldn’t mind but seriously is that how you run a store!

Yesterday and today when I ordered delivery it took over an hour and a half for the food to get here! My pizza was cold! I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED. I never had this problem in the past. They used to arrive within 30 mins. Oh and anytime I’d order EXTRA bacon it’s like a regular serving of bacon. What the hell?! I’m paying a lot more money for extra! I won’t be ordering from them again!

Excellent Service, and Good Quality

Pizza here seems to be much better than any other domino’s, there is a noticable difference in the pizza quality. It is almost as if this is not part of the chain at all, and that is a good thing. Delivery is quick and hot, not much more I can ask for.

I have not read the other reviews, but I will say that the food and service is very good. The staff is fun and kind. Additionally, the food is very good and consistent as I’ve been eating from here for over a decade.
Unfortunately, the timeliness of indoor ordering is a bit slow, but if you order ahead of time your order is ready. The wait time varies and in my experience has been over 20 minutes, so do order early or prepare to wait. Besides that, I haven’t had any issues and they give you the sauces and service you deserve.

Ordered over the phone for a carry-​out, they told me that it would take 15mns…50 mns later I finally received my order. Not very professional. Next time I would appreciate a more accurate estimated wait time.
