The food is ok. I ordered the penne vodka and it was pretty watery and just not that great. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We order from here a lot (they deliver to Hoboken hooray!) and every time we have enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are decent. We’ve tried the baked ziti pie, the penne vodka pie, the buffalo chicken pie, and a more traditional pie. They were all very good. We liked the buffalo chicken especially because it was not overpowered by the toppings, it’s very light. My husband loves the thin, soft crust that is never burnt. We’ve also tried their specialty fries which are very tasty, and not soggy — even for delivery. The wings were also very good. Perhaps our overall favorite is the calamari which is flavorful and fresh.

Got meatballs with spaghetti and a side order of sausage delivered. I was so wanting delicious Italian.
The food was Delivered later than EAT24 app indicated.
The Sausage and meatballs severely over cooked, burnt on edges, dried out.
Pasta sauce and pasta were good but over salted.
No option for beverages on the app. so I tried to sneak it in on the «notes» section when I paid for the order. No one received the message.
The usual message there is «please knock. Do not ring bell» which an obnoxious delivery man didn’t adhere to on the last delivery a few days ago. He then asked me if I were Arabic, which was odd, and demanded I recite something in Arabic, again odd, because I am not Arabic (not that anything is wrong with being so) but was simply not happy he rang the door bell which agitates two sick pets.
All in all, not very pleased with my food tonight. Disappointed. The best thing they do have going for them is there very reasonable prices.
Tonight, I must have gotten what I paid for, for real.

I have lived in the heights for two years, and I have never ordered here before. I must say the pizza was very fresh, and the sauce was very tasty. Definitely one of the better pizza choices up in the Heights. I will order again.

One of the best local delivery places, no matter what you’re ordering. I can get a beef gyro, ham and cheese stromboli, a meat lover’s pizza, and a philly cheesesteak all at the same place? You can also get classic italian dishes like Shrimp or Chicken Scampi over whatever pasta you want, all kinds of salads and sandwiches. This place doesn’t quit and they are always warm and delicious. You can’t go wrong, order a variety of things!

I love the chicken franchese. The pizza burger is also great. Try the white pie, it’s amazing.

Good wings. Good pizza. Bad chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich had next to no chicken and I felt like I was eating soggy bread with nothing else. I went be ordering that again but everything else I’ve had has been decent.

A very good slice of pizza with GOOD cheap prices. Especially for North Jersey. A lot of really good pizza, and roni rolls, and Jamcian Pattys. Its all tasty. A well done perfect Jersey Slice for $ 1.75 is REALLY good.

Great food, efficient service and the guys that work there could not be nicer! Everything is always delicious, AND the penne ala vodka and garlic cheesebread is the best I have ever had. Try it — you will not be disappointed,

Well I give up total disappointment. Meatballs are dry sauce to sweet, chicken gyro was a pound of lettuce with a few slivers of chicken. Fries need to be fried not put out to defrost then put in to go boxes. On a good note they were on time if an hour for delivery is on time. Sorry but skip this place its not worth it.

Food is good, but I’m currently waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for a pizza. Called the store 20 minutes ago and they said the delivery guy just left. Original estimate was for an hour and I live just down the street!
Far too many options in the area for this kind of service.

Best delivery in the heights! All of the food tastes like grandma’s homemade Italian. The vodka sauce is fantastic and the pizza is among the best in the area. We usually get the wings and hot antipasto with an entrée… never had something I didn’t like.

STILL LOVE THIS PLACE A LOT. Portions are great! Delivery does take a little bit and I live less than a mile away.
The white pizza and fresh tomato is my go to. Awesome stromboli and i always get it without sausage. I also like their antipasto but no mushrooms (they are not good here)
The marinara here is the best i’ve had.
If you order mild wings they just give you packets of hot sauce but spicy are a completely different wing and they aren’t as good.
The sandwiches were the only thing i felt left something to be desired. They aren’t very big or flavorful.

The pizza was good but i was told 40 – 45 min. I called after 45 min and was told it would be there in a few min. When it reached an hour i called over and over again and there was no answer. It finally arrived an hour and 15 min later after i started making something else to eat.

Ordered from them yesterday, suppose judging a business based on their performance on a superbowl sunday is not entirely fair — thus the 3 stars (vs. 2 that I was going for).
The first star was gone off the bat as I placed an order for ‘delivery later’ via seamless. Low and behold, 20 minutes later I had my food. A whopping 2 hours earlier than I wanted it. Since there really wasn’t a good way of resolving this, we signed for the food and called it a day.
We ordered a bit of everything, sicilian, grandmother’s pie, chicken roll, cheese pie, white slice, calzone. I am a bit of a protein whore so I ordered everything with chicken. And there goes the 4^th star. While I understand we’re talking pizza aka feel good/​comfort food here… I expect grilled chicken as a topping — this here was well overdone breaded chicken, fried beyond recognition. This essentially rendered several pieces of the orders inedible.
Now for the good — fast delivery. Reasonable prices. And while I wasn’t a big fan of the cheese pizza, the red sicilian pizza was very tasty — will def. go back for more of that. Calzone was so-​so but still better than most. I’d go back — as long as there’s no ‘chicken’ on my pizza :)

Inexpensive, open late. The baked ziti pizza with ricotta is solid and their salads are also good. What more can you want?

Food is great however, they take over a hour and a half sometimes to fulfill the order and aren’t nice about it either. Their fax sometimes doesn’t work so ordering online is not a good solution (via
) best to call but you will still wait over a hour for your order.

Donna Bella’s never fails to disappoint. I think I’ve tried most of the pizzerias in the neighborhood and this one is always solid — never diappoints. The pizzas are yummy and their grilled chicken sandwiches with sun dried tomatoes and vinaigrette or the roasted red peppers and mozz are great. In fact i just had it for dinner after a late night at work. if it weren’t for them, i would be very very cranky right now. me = hungry + tired = bad bad news for all

I have got to give a heads up on hidden Donna Bella. This is a little gem of a pizza place for sure.
Not much to see if you want ambiance, but alot to taste if you choose take out pizza or other Italian dishes.
I ordered Eggplant rollentini for the New years party I attended last night, and it was a hit.
Needless to say I will order from them for my last minute tray orders for sure, they even stayed open later for me to pick up the tray which I felt was very nice.
