Aquablu

Be careful with the doorman. He may yell at you!
On the last day when I was moving out, I asked a favor if I could leave my luggages in the mailing room for a favor since I’d have to go to work during day-​time and couldn’t carry my luggage. The doorman started yelling at me and saying nasty things. I truthfully didn’t get why a luxury apartment like Aquablu would hire a doorman like this guy who’s rude and has no manner whatsoever. Think twice if this is important to you.

AquaBlu is one of the newer apartment communities in jersey city. It is located in Newport — and I am lucky enough to have lived there! The doormen in this building are fantastic — very helpful and friendly. Additionally, the area itself is safe, nice, and well-​kept. The maintenance staff are prompt and courteous — always willing to help with heavy boxes too which is a nice touch. Of the buildings in newport, AquaBlu has one of the nicest interiors, nice ceilings, great views, and each unit has its own washer/​dryer. You pay rent online and after your lease is signed, you work exclusively with the residential office (not the leasing office).
I would recommend AquaBlu to anyone who is interested in being close to Manhattan but wants to live in jersey. You are fairly close to both the hoboken and newport path stations for easy access and close to the ferry too. Finally, you can’t beat living walking distance from a mall, a target, and a ton of great restaurants and bars!!!
