Santo’s Wood Fired Pizza Restaurant

Santo’s has restored my faith in NY style pie. What most places claim is «The Best NY Pie» usually turns out to be the greasy floppy topping slide mess that makes me question anyone’s argument over NY Style Pie. Santo’s lets the pizza do the arguing. The traditional with a crispy bottom and fluffy crust holds the toppings of tasty sauce and cheese perfectly. Fold it, love it there isn’t a bad bite on any slice.
I have also had the Grandma pie here and it is excellent. Spicy Grandma sauce and in house made fresh cheese, squared up with a thin crispy dough is some of the best GMPie I have had in the area. The White pizza is one of my new favorites and I hope I am not giving away any secrets but there is a tiny bit of a citrus flavor to it that make the ricotta taste like you are eating clouds. I could be wrong or having a mini-​stroke but it is delicious.
There are the usual suspects of big salads, pastas but I rarely make it past the pies in multiples. The dining room, owners and service are always pleasant. Keep the argument alive, I am never disappointed here.
