I enjoy Big Apple Pizza and have had good experiences both delivery and pick-up. I haven’t tried their«menu» pizzas — my signature order is a pepperoni, mushroom and jalapeño(which I highly recommend!) — and they always deliver a delicious pie with crust that just the right combination of chewy and crisp. Unfortunately, the wings are often dry — but there’s a way to fix that — you need to order what they call«undercooked» wings — which results in fully cooked, but juicy wings. The garlic knots are delicious — ideal level of garlic, salt, oil.

I used to like it years ago as one of our staples when visiting the area. The last pizza was light on toppings, cheese and sauce. Cost us around $ 20 which would have been pushing it on value, even if the pizza was good.

5 stars for service but probably 2 for food. We ordered two slices each, 2 pep, 2 supreme. The supreme had tons of onions, mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, and sausage. My pepperoni was good — my biggest complaint is the crust was too crispy. It was as if the pizza had been sitting out all day and then put in the oven for 10 minutes to where it became super extra crispy. Not terribly impressed.

This place has gone downhill like crazy. Mediocre pizza at most. I ordered a Sicilian style pizza. It was black on the bottom and dough in the middle. The sauce tastes like it is out of a can. The only thing they really have going for them is customer service. I am a baker and I understand how to bake a pizza. They are trying to bake too hot too fast, especially for this style of pizza. I understand they are trying to be quick, but scorching the crust and leaving the dough in the middle raw is just a joke. I wont be back anytime soon.

This Big Apple is part of the Big Apple chain although independent and not a franchise. The food is basically from the same menu but much better. If you’ve eaten at the other restaurants, you know what you’re getting. This location is family owned and takes much more care with the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. It’s your basic pizzeria and the interior is warm and friendly. Nothing fancy here! The staff has always been very nice to me and always says hello and takes a few minutes to chat. The pizza is New York style hand tossed. They make a great calzone and Italian Sub. The food has a homemade taste unlike the other chains.

Good decent pizza. Asked for extra cheese and it was loaded! Crust was crisp and not burnt. Pleasant staff!
