The world of marketing can be downright vile. By all rights this little backwater should be on anyone’s radar for a great meal. I know Unilocal says that they are a place for«desserts» or «coffee & tea», but trust me, you’ll be best served by cramming your gullet with real food. The highlight is the roti, a flaky and fresh house-made-to-order bread that serves as a vehicle for a good number of inspired concoctions, ranging from vegan to artery-clogging. To make the bread any better they’d need a real tandoori oven. Furthermore, there’s a shiny and trendy new place on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville that’s called the Hub. I haven’t been there yet, but they’ve already broken my heart, because *this* is the restaurant I want to see expand to the shady side of the Ohio. There are always daily specials, and it always is a good idea to check them out. But there are really no wrong answers. Most roti are $ 3 – 4, so you’ll get to try a couple items. Now open for dinner!

I love this place it’s cheap and the food is all family recipes, and inspired ones. I drive from Prp, Louisville not to far and totally worth it!

This place was a surprise. I was halfway expecting it to be dry and just ok, but it was good and not dry at all. The Kahlúa chocolate cake was delicious! I got the los pollos hermanos roti and the full Montague roti– I liked the pollos one better but both were good. My wife got the what in the kale roti and pasta salad and those were good as well. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Will definitely come back!

I was visiting a friend and decided to take a walk to the corner coffee shop. The interior was warm and welcoming which was nice because it was a bit cold outside. Not to big so if you have a party of 6 you might not fit if it’s crowded. I had them make me their iced coffee. It was sweet and strong enough for me but I like a medium roast. The guys that work there are very nice and accommodating. Good service. The bathroom was also very clean. I would definately go back if I’m ever in town again.

3 stars because the coffee is rather like Starbucks, super milky and no richness too it, easily fixed either add an extra shot or only have half the milk. Seems like a fairly common issue in America though! Just have things smaller rather than huuuuge cups with one shot of coffee doesn’t make sense! 5 stars for the service though, the lady was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. They also have food which is really cheap and appears to be good portion sizes(I didn’t eat any but saw others so I don’t know what it tastes like) The space is probably an old house and could do with a bit of jazzing up however it’s not bad.

Love! Love! Love! This little café is really a great place, with a relaxed atmosphere, super clean, and super friendly owners. I had the BLT roti and my other half had the Cuban with a side of jambalaya. Both were so fresh and delicious. We will most definitely be coming back. Oh and for desert you can’t go wrong with the mixed berry tart, so yummy good!

Incredible, Incredible food, & superb service. Great prices, very affordable considering the amount of flavors and portion sizes. What a gem to find when you’re on the road traveling like I am. Local Louisville residents are lucky to have this place in their neighborhood. Blown away by the atmosphere, and above all just how great the food is.

I stopped by on my way home from the walking bridge and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a cute coffee/sandwich shop. The sandwiches are not made with regular bread but Roti bread that is a kind of mixture between a crêpe and naan. I had one of their breakfast sandwiches with a kale salad and loved it. I am just so happy to have a cute shop on the way home for good food and coffee… haven’t tried the coffee yet but I will soon

We arrived at lunch time and didn’t know what to expect. We were given a rundown of what was on the menu. We ordered«it’s a me mario!» Which was the special and«the rogue.» «It’s a me mario» is a great lasagna on rito bread. «The rogue» is lettuce, brie and chicken. We would order both again, no question!

So fortunate to have been stopped by the traffic light, or we may have missed this treasure! Read the daily special and decided to give it a try. Atlantic cod roti absolutely awesome! The sweet potato salad very very good. And the desert to die for, a peanut butter chocolate cupcake! Love, love, love this place. Will definitely return!

Ok… This place is above it’s location. The food coming out of this little place is something I would expect out of a main stream café. Food is exceptional and amazingly fresh. This is a defiant must! Even if you are just passing through. Order 2 – 3 roti and the«super awesome ice»!

My boyfriend and I had passed this place all week, always very curious what it was all about. We looked up the menu online and drooled while reading through it. We finally got to stop on our way home from work tonight. We decided to place a to-go order. Although I can’t wait to eat inside next time. It’s very clean, quaint and has modern décor. Perfect to eat at with a friend or significant other with lots of natural light and cute sunflowers on each table. The gentleman, who I believe is the owner, who helped us explained in detail what everything was and directed us, also, to a picture book of all of their menu items. Again, we drooled looking over it. They specialize in roti’s. Which they describe as a pita or flatbread. It has this crispy, flaky skin. Almost like a croissant that has been flattened out like a pita. Basically, heaven. We both got two a piece, the Cuban and a chicken one that had brie. My boyfriend got pasta salad and I got truffle potato salad. They have several options and each Roti is only $ 3, which is crazy affordable for how delicious it is. They had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. They also offer a wide variety of coffee and dessert options. We’re so excited to finally have a place for a quick but delicious meal in Jeffersonville. This place was desperately needed. This place was perfect, to us. The food was phenomenal and the service matched. Our only regret? Not getting the shareable cherry cheesecake we were eyeing.
