Menards

On my travels to Ohio to visit family, I have spotted Menards and wondered, «what is that?» My uncle told me it was basically like a Lowes and said they had good deals. When we finally got one close to Louisville, I had to go check it out.
My uncle was right it like Lowes, but not all at the same time. It has all the things you would expect at Lowes: Lighting options, plumbing equipment, carpet, windows, gardening center supplies, you get the idea. Then there’s the other stuff: groceries, cleaning supplies, linens, organizing units, toys, office supplies. It’s all well situated in the store, it’s not overwhelming, and somehow it just works. Go through the main door and work your way around. You’ll be surprised at what you find and how decent the prices are. When you go to check out, the cashier will take care of things in your cart/​basket and ring them up for you. You end up at the other end of the lane bagging your items and then paying at the end of the lane as well.
I’ll have to go back sometime to see what other interesting things I can find. Definitely check it out.
