Restaurant Peruvian – El Chalaco

No one spoke English and we were standing waiting to place our order and no one was will to help

Despite the fact that this is a very small restaurant and they don’t have waiters, the wife’s owner, who serves the foods for the patrons, is awesome! The food is delicious it feels like a home made meal. The owners are Ecuadorian however they know about Peruvian food and specialties. I love their Causa and Arroz Chaufa. Most Peruvian Restaurants have Arroz Chaufa in their Menus but it is not really prepared the way it should. Arroz Chaufa is a Peruvian-​Mandarin dish very few know how to prepare this guys are great. Their Smoothies are made with Fresh Fruits and as I said the Lady that serves the food is kind and friendly. This may not look like the typical fancy restaurant compared to Armandos and El Angelo Fino but overall all I care is about the food and the way customers are treated.

So we ordered large fried rice with seafood and a whole. The price was unbelievably cheap and tasted extremely good. Hands down best Peruvian food I’ve had in awhile.

Found this place after we were searching for pollo Rico near here.
We tried it and it is possibly the best Peruvian chicken in the Jamaica /​Brooklyn area.
Cheap, extremely clean, friendly waiters and owners.
The salsa verde is just excellent.
We didn’t found this place in Unilocal.We added it right away. It’s amazing.
