Great food decent prices good people. Everything on the menu tastes good and they have choices for every budget. High school students, professionals, local iron workers from all ethnicities find something they like here.

Let me just say WOW. My husband is in a band, and he was playing next door at The Midway Café(which, by the way, serves no food, so it’s not really a café, now is it?) and in between sets, we were hungry so we went to Burritos. We split a large buffalo chicken sub and it was around 10 $. You might be thinking«10 bucks for a sub? thats crazy!» but let me tell you, it was HUGE! It was a good 18 inches long. And DELICIOUS! It was on either a sour dough or baguette. Either way, it was fresh and crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The buffalo chicken was perfect and saucy. The menu is HUGE! And they have EVERYTHING. Everything you’d expect from a pizza place, a sub shop, and a Spanish restaurant. Everything from Pizza, to subs, to pasta, to burritos(as the name implies haha) and tacos. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Just came in while in the area. My first impression is just another pizzeria with Mexican flavor. It has a HUGE menu from pizza to pasta to sandwiches to Mexican food. The friendly server informed me on the Spanish food as well. I was hungry and decided to order tacos. They were one of the tastiest tacos I have had in the recent years. Very fresh and the hot sauce were great! Will come back to try the Spanish and other Mexican dishes.

This place has a huge menu including pizza/subs as well as Mexican food. They don’t skimp on the portions. I had the buffalo tender sub and I needn’t have ordered the large. It was literally 18 inches long and yes, I know what literally means. More importantly, it was good quality. The roll was real bread, a crusty French baguette, not like something you buy in a bag at the grocery. The ingredients were good. All in all, they far exceeded my expectations. The vibe is definitely that of a small, independent business, not some upscale place, but the quality is well above average for this type of joint. I’ll definitely come back.

I ordered here based on the reviews of the Mexican food here. The delivery was quick but the food was cold and inedible. The burrito is definitely not the best in Boston, in fact it’s probably the worst. And don’t get me started on the nachos.

I ordered 2 burritos and a nantucket nectar for delivery and I was 9 minutes away. It took them 2 hours so I cancelled and even when I called them to cancel the phone was busy so I had to call them several times to get through. I wouldn’t recommend delivery from them if you like your food in a timely manner

Reviews don’t t do these guys any justice. The place is actually clean and the food is good, it is a neighborhood joint where you can get top quality anything on the menu, and for the price you really can’t beat that. Not much of a sit down place either but i have to say i especially loved the hot subs. PS: I orderded for a large group of friends and myself, we got variety of pizza, subs, wings, friends, burritos, a nice mix of everything.

We got delivery from here via foodler. Came pretty quickly. We each got a small pizza which was more than enough, but not enough for 2 meals. Just an FYI. I got the shrimp pizza which was AMAZING. Super greasy. Loved it. Big chunks of shrimp and you could really taste the scallions. He got the grilled chicken pizza and said we should order from there again, so I guess he liked it.

I’ve had tacos, pizza, chicken fingers and burritos here. I’m surprised to read the comments on the pizza as the pizza I’ve ordered has been, without question, fantastic. Maybe they changed it after the bad reviews? At least the pepperoni I’ve had(3 times) was very very good. fresh. tasty. just the right amount of cook on the crust. not too thin and not too thick. I quite enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. The burritos I’ve had are always huge and they are decent quality. I won’t compare them to other burrito places but I’d say what you get is in line with a pizza place. Not bad. not the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. Far from the worst burrito I’ve ever eaten. I was disappointed in the tacos. The chicken fingers have something in the breading that makes them delicious. I dont know what the seasoning is but I love them. Delivery is pretty fast. Except when I got the tacos. They were like an hour late. Which made the tacos mush. Usually delivery is pretty fast.

We ordered two chicken burritos for delivery. They showed up in a reasonable amount of time and were okay. Kind of bland but good enough. Not nearly as good as Anna’s.

I’m updating this mofo because people just don’t get it. If you are concerned about the cleanliness of a take out joint, you need to move to Santa Barbara or Aspen or somewhere else because eating at a taco place in JP/Roxbury comes with certain expectations: one being it is going to be somewhat dirty. The pizza and american food here sucks. Who cares. Who cares because they have the best tacos and burritos in the city. Not Anna’s not El Pelon, they are here at Burritos Pizzeria. The main reason for the update is because people need to know about the chorizo tacos. Their chorizo is smoky. Their chorizo is savory. Their chorizo comes in the best taco in town and you need to cough up 2.50 and get one. All the other ones are good too. Someone else COMPLAINED about getting sour cream on your taco then whined about«not ordering a taco supreme». «Taco supreme» is taco bell lingo and I recommend you stick to going there. Order yourself a nice chalupa then kindly jump into a volcano. The guy behind the counter ALWAYS asks«You want everything on that?» Don’t stand there slack jawed and go «uh yeah» if you don’t know and don’t ask. Chorizo tacos forever!

Awesome Mexican-style tacos. Great burritos. Also I don’t get the beef on here with their pizza. It’s not amazing but it’s moderately decent.

Just wanted to jump on Andrea G’s point, and tell you that if you are(a) not ordering the burrito here or(b) ordering burritos anywhere else, you are getting a raw deal. Last week, I had a Chipotle burrito on Friday(we all have our lapses in judgment, especially at lunchtime). Saturday night came around, and I thought«you know what? I still have not scratched my burrito itch.» So I ordered the steak burrito from Burrito’s. I will just say: going from Chipotle’s mealy rice & sad flavorless beans & tough steak, to Burrito’s masterful Spanish rice & perfectly seasoned black beans & magnificent little nuggets of beefy goodness, is like being impressed by a reasonably adroit team of middle schoolers playing 3 on 3 basketball, then turning around and seeing a robotic version of Shaquille O’Neal slam dunk Batman’s skull into a goblet made out of snakes.

Disgusting tacos. Have they EVER cleaned the grill?! I LOVE tacos. Having recently moved into this neighborhood I was ECSTATIC when I saw that this place(which at first glance appears to be a crappy pizza/sub shop) was run by spanish speaking folks that had a little nook on their menu there tacos, burritos, and even pupusas live. Or perhaps, poopoosas would be more accurate. I went in tonight and got the trifecta. Two Al Pastor, Two chicken and Two steak. Tacos are all served with a huge glob of sour cream on them(dollop x 3). WTF is this? I didn’t ask for a taco supreme. Real tacos don’t need a squirt of white stuff on them. That’s not really the problem though. The al pastor tacos were grisly. The pieces of fat(not chicharones) were disgusting and cleverly hidden by random chunks of pineapple. Was this pork in their al pastor? I had a hard time telling what kind of meat it once was. Ugh The chicken… holy crap, not even edible. It had a fake smoky smell. Kind of like that pour some cheap mezcal over it on the grill. When I dug into the steak though, I understood it more. The steak tacos were the best, but hardly even two stars worthy. From the steak you could tell the grill was ‘well-seasoned’. I’m pretty sure in my tacos were the scraping of many steak grinders and whatever the frack else is on the menu that hits the grill. The side of rice was the most edible thing I got. I mean, it was greasy like the tacos, but it seems the best bet for not getting diarrhea tomorrow. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemies.

People. It’s called«Burritos Pizzeria» and is run by Latinos… Get. The. Burritos. The Burrito Al Pastor with that homemade green salsa?! I can’t. I just can’t. It is hands down the BEST burrito I have eaten anywhere at anytime in any lifetime. I have had it twice, because I didn’t believe it the first time. I had it with everything: rice, beans, sour cream, queso fresco, veggies, guacamole, tomatoes, lettuce, caramelized onion, and the al pastor meat with grilled pineapples. It blew my motherf****ing mind. It’s the sh*t. I know it’s advertised as a pizzeria– but«Burritos» is the first name. Don’t let the pizza bring this place down. The burritos are Boston’s best kept secret.

The place looks shady, but it’s not. The workers couldn’t be nicer, even if there’s a bit of a language barrier. The Mexican food is AWESOME, and that’s all I’ve had. I particularly recommend the chorizo nachos and al pastor burrito. It’s a bit expensive for greasy Mexican takeout, but it’s tasty and meets your needs in a pinch.

When in doubt, I steak and cheese it out. I was pleasantly surprised of how tasty it was. The Burritos Pizzeria variety comes in a baguette, not the traditional sub roll, and came toasted with fresh ingredients. Super juicy and delicious(i was sober for the record), with the perfect meat: condiment:bun ratio. I won’t however go above 3 stars for the fact that the place is in no way welcoming. It’s really sad, actually. The seating area is limited, and I was tempted to bust a move in the middle of the shop because it resembled a low budget raggedy dance floor. Aside from the fact that it’s outdated, the food is good enough for another visit en route to doing my laundry. JP stand up! –Beantowns Finest–

Alright, folks, this has gone on long enough. This place shines with it’s Spanish food. I always get a burrito and it’s as close as I’ve gotten to a SoCal burrito here in Boston. I’ve had the pizza once. It wasn’t great. It wasn’t awful. It was nothing to write a Unilocal review about, so I’m not sure why so many of you have. Get a burrito. Get some tacos. Don’t be a d-bag about it. I am happy to keep coming here when I’m in the mood for a good burrito. Yeah, it’s a weird store front. I mean, what’s up with that weird arrow in the tiles? It’s prettttty obvious where you should go to order and pay. The one thing that I wish it didn’t have was obnoxious teenagers enacting ridiculous amounts of masculinity because this society doesn’t have healthy models for young men. But that’s not even Burritos Pizzeria’s problem!
