Zane’s Cafe

Had 1 meal there but it was gross. Ordered breakfast for lunch, potatoes gooey and no seasonings, eggs greasy and grits not creamy at all. Yuck is my summary of the meal.

Ever stumbled in from a long night of drinking and debauchery, starving because you turned down the invite to Waffle House with a plan to make your own breakfast?
Great news! You can recreate this experience with the breakfast bowl at Zane’s Café! The grits will be crunchy and a little under-​cooked, giving you that, «if I let them simmer I might pass out so I’ll just slop them on the plate now,» effect, and your eggs will look like a cut up omelet like you forgot to scramble them as you peeled off your sweaty dance clothes. And best of all, just as you would haphazardly slop your half-​cooked grits onto a paper plate instead of a bowl because: drunk, your breakfast bowl will come in a classic square Styrofoam carryout container, spreading mess everywhere as you stumble to a seat to enjoy your flavorful (yay for adding onions and peppers) concoction that will keep you from hating life tomorrow, but definitely not something you’d try to sell as a restaurant-​level meal.
Maybe you’ll have better luck with a burger after you brush the gritty grits out of your teeth and sleep off your night.

Should not even be one star. They advertise best burgers but how can that be when you’re out of beef!

I keep trying this place and my order is never right. I believe in small business but I cannot keep spending my money.

Food is ok but $ 13 for biscuits and gravy and side of grits. Especially $ 2.95 for a drink. I won’t be going back.

Amazing Burgers!!! Love that they have coleslaw as a sub for fries! Beautifully prepared and delicious! Awesome job!

Great food and great service. The Philly Billy is awesome. I also had the biscuits and gravy and they are the best in town.
