Wilson Square

This shopping center once had a very bad parking lot… Thank you Walmart Market for coming in so they fixed the lot. There are a couple of other stores in this shopping center… There’s a Dollar General and China Wok…
The Vystar ATM stays pretty busy now that the Walmart is in the shopping center.

This is a small strip mall off of Wilson Blvd. on the westside of Jax. It contains Dollar General, China Wok (which is actually one of our favourite places to grab Chinese), and a drive-​up Vystar ATM. Until recently, those were the only reasons I came here. Wilson Square was unremarkable with a horrible parking lot. Dodging the potholes could have been made into a game.
Well, what has happened recently to make it noteworthy and deserving of 4 whole Unilocalie stars? A Walmart Neighborhood Market just opened there a couple of weeks ago. Yes, i’m quite excited about that! I’ve always been more fond of the Neighborhood Markets rather than the large Walmart stores and now I have one close to me. Yay! I know, it’s those little things in life.
Thanks to Walmart, the entire parking lot has now been repaved and all the lines have been freshly painted. They even redid the curbs, shrubs, etc., so now it’s esthetically pleasing. Thank you, Walmart.
I’m not sure how long the run-​down Dollar General will last now that it has Walmart to compete with literally right next door. We shall see.
Oh, and there’s also a Metro PCS and a couple of other small stores here which I’ve never paid attention to. Check out the photo I added which lists all the stores, if you are interested.
And I almost forgot. There’s now a Redbox here. Thanks again, Walmart!
