Fast and clean, great customer service. I forgot my wallet so they held my shopping cart at the customer service desk until I returned. Being disabled is not easy, but with supportive businesses such as this it makes my life possible.

Everyone knows that the Walmart locations on both Normandy and 103rd are notoriously known for their horrendous customer service and overall shopping experience, so when this Neighborhood Market opened up just down the street from me, I was ecstatic. No longer do i have to debate on whether not to «pack a piece’ before i go grocery shopping, nor am I hit up for either money or cigs by 10 different people as I walk from the car to the front door. Such a relief. Atmosphere: Love it. At any time of day, you will see employees doing everything from stocking the shelves to assisting customers find this and that. At most other Walmarts, ESPECIALLY the afformentioned locations, you will be lucky to find ANY assistance… at all… for anything. The aisles here are immaculately clean, well-spaced, and the layout is designed so that everything is easily accessible. The produce and baked breads that I’ve bought here are among the freshest and eye pleasing that i’ve found over most other locations. Service: On the way in, you’re greeted. On the way out, you’re thanked. YES… there IS such a thing as customer service here, believe it or not. Shocking, eh? Not only do the employees provide service, but they actually SMILE at you… and ask if there’s anything more they can do, etc. When I have a problem at the self-service checkout, someone’s there in a flash to fix it. I know it sounds like I’m full of shyit, but just go there, and trust me. And so: Come one, come all, and you too… will be a believer. Although not located in the greatest of neighborhoods(this ain’t Riverside, boo boo), the shopping center as a whole has become more inviting thanks to the implementation of this store. So all in all… a well-deserved 5 stars is given for greatly exceeding my expectations in all categories!

This Walmart Marketplace is located in the former location of Food Lion on Wilson Blvd. this location is very new so for now it gets 5 stars… it’s super clean, the employees are very friendly and helpful and items are replenished on a regular basis… Will all of this last? Maybe not… That said it’s good to see it start off so well. It is located very near two other bigger Walmart locations… but it makes since because the Marketplace offers Walmart prices without as many crowds. As to whether or not this location keeps it’s 5 star rating, only time will tell… for now I will continue to shop here and hope for the best!

This is the new Walmart neighborhood market on Wilson Boulevard. I was surprised they would even put that in because there are two other Walmarts within a five minute drive but they did and it’s a good thing because that strip mall was a eyesight after Albertsons left. As a general rule I find the Walmarts in Jacksonville to be pretty disgusting places, however this Walmart neighborhood market is very clean and all the employees are super friendly. Considering it’s supposed to be a smaller store which it is compared to the usual Walmart, it has a good selection of food it has gluten-free products and a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Well there certainly are still a good percentage of foodstamp shoppers there there are also many elderly people from the neighborhood and it seems to draw from all around the area which is nice. I have not yet seen any open and half consumed packages of food like you always see in the regular Walmart and it is much more clean than the Walmart on Normandy or 103rd Street. Although I haven’t used it there is also a pharmacy there which looks to have a much shorter line then the regular Walmart pharmacy.

Let’s see how long they keep the 5 stars. LOL This store has only been open for a couple of week, so everything is still all nice, new, and shiny. The employees are friendly and helpful… there’s also plenty of them, so there’s always someone near who can help. It’s also a breeze to check out. I have always preferred the Neighborhood Markets over the large Walmart stores and I’m very happy to have one in my neighborhood now. You can still find all your grocery here and essentials like shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc… all at every day Walmart prices. The entire little shopping center has been revamped thanks to this Walmart. The parking lot has been repaved, and has also been spruced up with fresh landscaping. The only problem I see in the future, is this store is not located in a really great part of town. Which is what makes me wonder how long it’s going to be until I have to start taking stars away from the 5 I just gave it. Tip: There’s a Redbox located outside.
